Our favorite thing about the hotel was its serenity and the sense of peace you felt when you walked in. We also really enjoyed the Japanese breakfast, it gave us a different, unique perspective. The free drinks and snacks during the lounge hours were refreshing. Unfortunately, access is limited, and there is a lack of common space when trying to eat non-hotel food. Finally, there is also not very much surrounding the hotel on foot, but one can still use a taxi to get to Kyoto Station or other sightseeing spots.

Amazing Experience at Kyoto

Stayed in kyoto for 3 nights here with a friend. The hotel and the service for the price was imaculate. Clean and elegant rooms. Spacious shower and useful amentities like laundry, iron board and press, good and convenient breakfast and bar. And it coveniently located to multiple forms and transport and no too far from Kyoto Station. The staff were very helpful and spoke good english. This will be my hotel of choice for my next trp to Kyoto.

Beautiful hotel with comfortable beds. The room was a bit tiny - imagine showering in a phone both - and the location was just ok. Otherwise, it was great. Don't pay extra for the breakfast. Just not worth the cost.

We love this hotel, the bedroom was excellent size for our family (4 ), it was clean, the hotel is beautiful and clean. The onsen was our favorite part. The breakfast menu is delicious. We really enjoy our stay here.

Excellent quiet location in Kyoto, but right next to some attractions, easy transportation options to all the most popular tourist attractions. Great service, clean rooms, beautiful hotel. The hotel bath was great too (warning: it seems to be chlorinated), not too crowded either. The location is good enough - nearest convenience store was a short walk away, and many parking options nearby. Quality of the amenities was really good. Only issue was a lack of space to hang towels - so much glass and wall space in the room, surely a towel bar or even just some hooks could be provided? 😅 Other than that, layout of the room was great with sockets all around, and many surfaces to place stuff even in the bathroom.

Unbelievably small rooms - and not the picture of the hotel you see on this app- no place for luggage with the only storage option to put on top of furniture. We had a huge bed but had to get in from the end as there was no space either side / just wall to wall bed in which only one person could be at the space below at a time. If you want a decent room you will have to pay large amounts for the upgrade. This hotel is all show and no substance - they have spent so much time on the form they forget function - so dark you can hardly see in the corridors and in the foyer - no lounge area to sit apart from a cold bar area they open at 3 pm. Definitely not a 4 star hotel - more a hostel vibe- so if you want some nice rest and relaxation after a hectic cultural day in Kyoto - I would stay elsewhere…

We loved our stay here. Excellent area, close to the main station (about 10 mins walk) and the #50 bus stops right in front of the hotel! Excellent base for our five days in Kyoto. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful breakfast (tried and enjoyed both the traditional & Western). Did not try the baths, but they looked beautiful. The hotel bar was pleasant and we ended a couple nights there. Would strongly recommend this hotel.
