A lovely hotel, felt very relaxing and nice to wander back there. Location was good, we walk a lot and buses were very easy from there. Lovely room, best pyjamas of the trip which I wish I'd bought now, and lovely helpful staff. Comfortable room, very nice indeed. Would stay again.

Lovely amenities (pajamas, slippers, toiletries, free coffee tea and a water for the room then after 12pm free coffee, tea in the lobby.) wonderful European bakery around the corner for breakfast but also a 10min walk to Nishiki market and other shopping. We enjoyed our stay at Oakwood. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the rooms were large for Japanese hotel standards and were very clean. The hotel is conveniently located, but in a quieter area, so you don’t hear a lot of noise. We would happily stay here again!
