Excellent stay! The hotel has a perfect location with plenty to do around and countless options to explore the local food scene. Everything is within walking distance or easy to reach by public transport, making it ideal for sightseeing in Kyoto. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a great value for the price and highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Kyoto to the fullest.

The bed was really comfortable. We had two single beds and we enjoyed it. We didn't try the food, but it smelled amazing in the morning. The staff was really helpful. We had a problem with the dryer and they fixed it right away. They called a place for us to see if we could stop by, called a taxi, cleaning was done everyday, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back without hesitation!

Would give a 3.5. The room is small (standard for Japan) and clean. But has no true window only a frosted pane of glass that doesn’t let much light in and you can’t see out of. Temperature is locked above 20c - also standard in Japan, except for the fact that the AC was so weak that in actuality the temperature never got below 23/24C. For the price it wasn’t disappointing but wouldn’t stay again.
