The hotel is unique and very aesthetic, with beautiful art pieces displayed in the lobby. Its location is very convenient—close to convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and just a short walk to bus stops and train stations. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. They also provide complimentary coffee and tea, which was a nice touch during my stay.
The Single Room has adequate space for one single traveler. The room is clean, quiet and the bed is comfortable. If anything, I would say the lighting of the room is a bit too dark for me.
For art lovers, the bonus is that this is not your typical hotel with artwork collections; the lobby is an art gallery for real. I was pleasantly surprised to be invited to an exhibition opening cocktail party during my stay.
Also, you don’t want to miss the thoughtfully designed, nutrition-balanced breakfast. The colorful plate will energize your day from the beginning.
The lobby is well designed and the art presented in it gives a unique experience. The staff where very helpful and catered all our requests especially Tae from the front desk.
Node Hotel will please the design fans - it's uber cool which is refreshing considering you are in such a beautiful historic city. The rooms are lowly lit and the amenities are all as you would expect from this hotel too. I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but it did look great and well presented. My only feedback would be the room itself was incredibly small (it felt more like a university single dorm room). For one person it was manageable but moving around there with another person and 2 suitcases would be very uncomfortable so do opt for the larger room if available.
Hotel room was very nice! The staff were very kind and professional and very helpful when it came to shipping our luggage to the next hotel! Breakfast was good.

10/10, will be staying everytime we visit kyoto now. The location was great, The staff and hotel was perfect. Absolutely loved staying here
Service, staff, comfort, style, all excellent. Wonderful breakfasts, great restaurant. Location is ideal, just a 1-minute walk from the best-connected bust stop in Kyoto. It made getting around the city so easy.
Was away from all the bustle. It was a very quiet area but was still close to everything. The staff were super friendly and the cafe in the Hotel was great. Would definitely stay here again. The rooms don't look like your typical hotel rooms, it felt as if you were in the comfort of your "home". Great place!
An amazing hotel to stay at. All aspects of the hotel were well considered. The artwork throughout was very unique and great service. The resturant food was reansobly priced but excellent quality.
My husband and I got to stay here back in October for our honey moon. My biggest regret was only staying here for 2 nights, the hotel was very clean, the lady at the front desk and the workers in the restaurant were extremely friendly. They made our stay very special, and we are forever grateful for the service we were given. The hotel is in a great spot, the hotel felt very upscale, probably one of the nicest I’ve ever stayed in. The food and drinks at their restaurant were absolutely delicious. We did both breakfast and dinner while we were there. From the moment we set foot in the hotel to the moment we left they made us feel extremely welcomed and at home. If you find yourself going to Kyoto do yourself a favor and stay here. You will not regret it! Thank you all for the wonderful hospitality!
A fantastic hotel! Room was modern and clean with beautiful art that was unique to each room. Staff were super friendly and they made our honeymoon stay extremely memorable! Close to the bus stop, 24hr supermarket and convenience stories. We will definitely be returning!
A great funky hotel in a quiet but convenient location. Staff are really friendly and willing to help. They were more than happy to assist with booking local restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!
We stayed in 4 hotels during our stay in Japan and this was by far the best. It was a smaller hotel within walking distance of some main attractions. The staff were incredible at dealing with our every request, including arranging for our luggage to be transferred onto the next hotel. The room was a good size for Japan with plenty of pace for our luggage and a comfy bed. We didn't eat at the restaurant but It looked like it served some good food.
Very modern hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff, however the corridors are very dark. Our bedroom had multiple levels which I wasn't so keen on. Breakfasts were delicious and very well-presented. Overall a great hotel at a reasonable price, however I found that it lacked warmth.
