It was a beautiful hotel. Guest services were also excellent. I wished they would clean the room every other day during extended stays. Alternatively, I would have appreciated being able to request cleaning at the front desk. I also wished there had been a tissue box.

We loved this hotel and the location was perfect. The beds are so comfy. The rooms are super cute, they even had make your own matcha kits. The only thing is they don’t clean the rooms daily so if you’re staying for a few nights or longer it can definitely get a bit chaotic with garbage and such. They give fresh water bottles and towels daily though and had cultural showings each night. Would recommend.

Hotel Resol Kyoto Shijo Muromachi is a lovely hotel located on a quiet street. A nice escape after a long day out. The room is smartly designed and was a comfortable stay. Its proximity to the busy shopping street and public transit is great. There are dining options & a Family Mart nearby if needed.

Hotel had some in-house performances and activities but unfortunately the timing didn't work out for us. Overall it is a very convenient location, walking distance to Nishiki market, and the pokemon centre which was a highlight for my son. Staff were friendly and provided kids slippers and toothbrushes which were cute. Was a comfortable stay!

Convenient hotel stay, for one night only. We were able to walk everywhere. No complaints. If you're looking for a large hotel room this is not it, the bed is the main space holder. It is narrow and small, but it was great for us!
