This hotel was in a great location!! 10-15 min walk to Gion. We had two twins. Rooms was VERY small BUT we were gone all day and really only slept there. The amazing bed and shower made up for small room. Immaculate as far as cleanliness. Staff was extremely helpful!! My only complaint was don’t waste your money on the western breakfast. $13 US for bread and fruit? There is a great cafe a block away for 1/3 the price. Hotel would also not let you buy a cup of coffee at breakfast if you didn’t buy their breakfast buffet. Regardless of breakfast shortfall. Highly recommend and I definitely would stay again!!

Hotel is in the busy shopping area, near bus stop , train station and Gion. Very clean . I stay for 2 nights. Breakfast has Japanese and western style. I tried Japanese style, it’s ok.

Clean, modern, convenient, quiet, comfortable! Very happy!

Excellent location of hotel with entrance a few meters from main street in Kyoto and Nishiki Food Market. Subway a few mnutes walk from hotel. Hotel entrance is difficult to find as it's in an alley. Took a taxi from Kyoto Central Station and the driver was very familiar with it. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel! The location is great, close to everything and public transportation.

The location was great! The public bath and shower in the room were also both great! We had corner room on a high floor, so we had a great view of the street below from two large windows. The only negative to this hotel is that the room was smaller than other hotels we stayed at in Japan. There was not really a place for us to unpack or store our luggage.

Nice hotel in great location. Very clean and nice staffs.

It was a wonderful experience, my family had a great stay for 3 nights and will be happy to stay here again

The hotel's central location is perfect. Close to the subway lines, two stops from Kyoto station, walking distance to the gion area, and loads of places to eat! The hotel rooms themselves are a little smaller (by north american standards) but who cares, we were really only in our room to sleep anyway. The hotel's public bath was excellent. Very clean, hot water and a sauna room; very enjoyable! Would absolutely recommend staying here.
