This charming, tastefully decorated cottage offers you the perfect escape from everyday life. Experience authentic Finnish cottage life with log walls, while enjoying modern amenities such as a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a cozy sauna.
The cottage is located in a beautiful spot near pine forests, so you can enjoy a peaceful environment and beautiful views. Nearby Ruka is a skier's dream destination, Oulanka National Park offers stunning hiking opportunities, and in winter, nearby skiing trails are at your disposal.
The cottage is suitable for families and groups of friends, and can accommodate up to six people.
Located 10 km north of Kuusamo and 18 km from Ruka. Oivankijärvi lake is 50 meters away, with a sandy bottom and a rapidly deepening beach, and a rowing boat is available.
Harjula is a traditional log cabin built in 1986. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and 1 single bed, bedroom 2 has a double bed and 1 single bed. In addition, there is a combined living room and kitchen, two toilets, and an electric sauna.
Steep descent to the beach, wooden, safe stairs lead there, which are available for guests to use.
The beach has a sandy bottom (soft at deeper levels), quickly deepens and is not suitable for very small children.
Own boat (Suvi 402) and pier built 5/2023.
There is a barbecue hut on the beach that is shared with the neighboring cottage Mäntylä (not in winter use).
Harjula beach sauna is NOT available for guests to use.

Bostaden var helt underbar, placerad i skogen 2 km från närmaste väg bidrog till skogens lugn. Huset ser ut som en mycket gammal timmer stuga på utsidan men är en toppmodern villa inne. Underbar vistelse.

Kombinationen en gammal timmerstuga på utsidan men en toppmodern villa på insidan. Placerad långt in i skogen vid en sjö. 2 km till närmsta väg gör att det är så tyst o skönt. Man kan bada bastu o svalka sig i sjön, grilla o ute eller i grillkåtan. Fiska i sjön, vandra i den fina skogen, plocka svamp. Bara vara, sitta o ta det lugnt, läsa, njuta av allt. Påhälsad av fåglar och ibland renar som går förbi. Jag har varit på många platser i varierande boenden och den här får en stark 10-poäng av 10.

Suhteellisen kriittinen olen, mutta tässä tapauksessa majoitusta häiritsi vain kaksi asiaa: Hyttyset (ei voi mitään...) ja Pieni sähläys avainlokeroiden suhteen (selvisi kyllä, mutta voisin toivoa, että yhteyshenkilö osaa kysyä tarkemmin tiedon siitä minkä niminen mökki tulikaan varattua. Ei varaaja välttämättä muista oliko se kuusikko, männikkö, koivikko vai mikä olikaan) Muuten paikka oli 10+

Prachtig romantische blokhut op mooie locatie
Prachtige blokhut met in de winter goede verwarming en open haard, mooi gelegen in het bos met uitzicht op een meer. De dichstbijzijnde buren op 100 meter. Wel jammer dat wij verouderde informatie over het sleuteladres meekregen. Hierdoor zijn we onnodig een uur onderweg geweest naar een sleuteladres. De sleutel zat uiteindelijk gewoon in een kluisje bij de woning zelf.
