Friendly and helpful staff, air con leaks because they’re on full time, so be careful under the vents. Other than that it was a great place highly recommend! Comfy bed, great room and right in front beach with great views of sunset.

Needs Something More

Over many years we have stayed at the Heritage, but, no more. It seems like upkeep is not part of the Heritage or Accor group mantra. We booked the Junior Suite, for the balcony and the beach and street view. The room was lovely, but really showing signs of tiredness. Especially the bathroom. The glass and tiles are soiled our shower door would not stay shut, took 2 attempts are a whole afternoon to fix, and still not properly. Couldn't open shower or toilet door independently, didn't want to waste more time so just put up with it. Sink plug and drain mechanism also not functioning. Still we loved the balcony, and our bed, and extra space the Junior Suite gives. Breakfast has changed and gone downhill, food not hot, variety has changed, and in general, not the greatest selection as i was used to in the past. Pool bar and food, is very expensive, and you have to add 21% tax on top. The selection and quality of this has also changed for the worst. Staff are always a credit to the hotel, and it was good to see and be remembered by some of the older staff. A new hotel is being built in front of roof top pool, so when complete i imagine the Heritage will loose the views of the beach from the pool. In general staff a great, hotel is clean, but needs a lot of updating, and food and drink prices are far too expensive. Sorry Heritage you were my favourite hotel, for about 10 or more years, but, not anymore, and we wont be back.

An enjoyable nautical theme with great staff and suitable accommodations and pool facilities. Superior buffet breakfast and view. Regrettably a great deal of construction on the property hampers the view and atmosphere. The only issue with the rooms is the floors are not cleaned well with lots of dust build up visible under tables and vanity.

The hotel and front of house was amazing. The room was a little 1980s but still very nice and the balcony ocean view was magic. Construction next door was little annoying but it's something everybody has to get over. My only complaint was breakfast ..seemed understaffed and food was only ughh....yoghurts not good fruit not good and salad not fresh.
