Never give this hotel a thought. Price is overvalued. Check in service was slow and bad enough. We paid rm380 a night and they messed up and booked us in the rm180 room. Upon asking only they "realised" their mistake and checked us into a better one. However the floor in the "better" room was oily and not mopped!!! The pool water also not well maintened. Definately not for international tourist. Something is horrible wrong with the management of this hotel. The people on top needs to be fired for doing such lousy job. Obviously they are too complacent and not doing their job. Two stars hotel in my opinion.

We arrived to a terrible room. Old, filled with dirt, scary and with a cockroach we killed (check the photos). Our friends in a second room had the same situation. And those were deluxe rooms, not the cheapest one. Obviously, I demanded that we were changed to better rooms, renovated if there were any. The changed us immediately to slightly better rooms, it looked as if they had been renovated 5 years ago or so, since then with no repairs of course, still almost acceptable. But we had small ants on our wall and they bite my girlfriend at night. Also the curtains and a framed picture were stained but like obviously stained, housekeeping must decide NOT to clean it. The sheets were clean but also had stains which we just let be. Sockets and switches were eaten by dirt. Still, the location is quite nice, the swimming pool area was just what we where looking for to spend a few day lounging by the sea. The restaurant is worthless, the breakfast acceptable. Beware of "burkinis" in the morning taking baths in the swimming pool, at least the disappeared from 10am onwards. Wifi was mostly ok. In the end a pity, it could be a great place, but it is very run down and has a dying vibe you must overcome.

OMG.never been to such an.old dilapidated hotel. we are force to stay becos its under legend holidays membership. the place lack maintainance. tje furniture is definitely from pra merdeka time. the sugar provided in the room is full of ants. image that. at about 2am our villa endure a blackout. try calling the reception .it was answered.only after 30 minutes. we still have 5 moredays out of 7 days to utilised our entitlement. try to get other resorts under legend..expected answer..we are fully.booked. how to use the entitlement we are not sure of... this whole legend things suck. i.wisj the legend management in kl to come over to cherating for a surprise visit..u will understand my lament then. not to.forget..we ask for an ironing board..provide us with shaky wobbly the end unable to use . we use the.table instead.and the housekeeping sent tje board when we.were at the beach. the room was locked but.they managed to enter without our permision..opening to speculation that they can enter our room when we are asleep..imagine that. dangerous and unethical.

I have been to this hotel a couple of times since the 90's and to tell the truth, nothing has really changed for the better. The beach is nice, the grounds are clean but these are pretty much the only good things to say about it. Check-in was very slow and the food (even the simple Nasi Goreng) was disappointing. This resort needs to get on with the times and start comparing itself with its peers in other parts of the country.

I booked 2 rooms 3 weeks prior to our arrival. I requested for connecting rooms as we have 3 kids and 3 adults. Upon arriving at the 'resort' at 7pm after a long drive from KL, I was not given the connecting rooms. Their reason, 'oh we are full'. I offered to upgrade to higher room category and same answer. 'We are full' . WTF....ok. So we had no choice despite requesting for it. Then they only gave us the keys to one out of the two room. Reason being the other room is not ready!!!!! REALLY?? AT 7 PM ? Ok, so we went off to the one room that is ready and my kids were all excited and wanted to go swim etc. And when we got into the room , my god!!!! It was a dump. The room smelt bad, there were not sufficient lighting, and best of all. The toilet had no toilet roll. No towels, no floor mats. What more can anyone ask for!!! Paying RM400 a nite for this? That shack down the road have more facilities and is probably cleaner for RM100 a nite. So, fuming mad , disappointed and tired, we waited . Waited to see if the other room was going to be any better. Not hearing from the reception, I walked all the way back to the lobby and told them the problem with that room. The answer I got from them was ' ohh..sometimes they are slow to put these things in the room' . At this point , I knew that no matter what I said or complaint, these people just wouldn't care. This is a 'resort' where you take it or leave it. Where, you get treated like garbage. Can you imagine, after the initial request for connecting room was turned down, they then assigned me a room which was far away from this room. I said no and made them give me a room nearer and suddenly they found one right opposite. Getting into the second room, same horrible condition, no towel, no toilet paper. If I could had gotten my refund at this point, I would had left. Despite being tired from the long drive. The fun doesn't end here. We decided to have dinner at the coffee house that night. Walking in there was a buffet dinner being offered. 5 different main dishes and the some cakes etc. At 8pm , the food was all gone. So, we asked if it would be replenished. And the waitress said oh yes. You have to wait. Ok, forget it. NOT gonna be suckered so we ordered a la carte. I sat there and waited 40 minutes for a plate of fried rice. The restaurant was not even full. There were probably one other table with 2 guests. If you are reading this, you might be thinking of going to this resort. My advice to you is please do yourself a favor, save some money and avoid this place at all costs. There are other better resorts nearby. Everything was terrible here. The place is run down, dirty and the people had stopped caring long time ago. What kind of place run out of eggs halfway through breakfast? The 3 nights we spent there was the worst I had ever experienced in my years of travels. This place should be torn down and rebuilt or the management should just sell it to others that will give a damn and do a better job.

We came for a 3d2n romance by the beach package. Everything isn't perfect like what you've read from the reviews here but they tried their very best to ensure that the guest are happy. Therefore I give them a credit for it. We stayed at 5th floor at the block closest to the beach. Beach is clean and beautiful. Too bad it is a jelly fish season now. Eventhough we only go down to knee length level, we still manage to enjoy all the wave splashing on us. Massage was good and the best is the candlelight dinner experience here. It was really romantic. Kudos to Rami, a trainee who served us well that night. That experience totally changed our initial perception of this place. I hope management will refurbish the rooms. The place is really not bad.

Had our yearly family gathering here. Firstly minus points 1. food was moderate less varieties 2. Bathroom and toilet needs repair and maintenance 3. 3/4 of my family member had bed bugs effect. We were 50 pax all together. We had all our body,leg, hand etc needed treatment for bed bugs bitting and it took weeks to recover 4. Beach was clean but had many type of insect type of predators. Secondly positive point 1. Beautiful sunrise and sunset 2. Long beach suitable to choose the favourite spot 3. Easy excess for sea activities

The rooms condition is not what i pay for. $230 per night and the air conditioning is not cold at all. The shower has very bad water heater system ... suddenly no hot water only cold water runing the shower... the toilet door was damage with many holes punching through. I book online asking in advance for 3 rooms eith 2 single bed but when check in they gave me a room with a king size bed. The reception staff is not very well train with trainee staff more than permanent staff. The only good for this place is the morning breakfast. Not bad. Everything inside the rooms not good and in poor condition. I am very sure the resort management did not maintain the resort rooms. I wanted to vomit through out my stay due to the room smell terrible. If can... please don't choose this resort.

Front desk service very slow. We waited for half an hour to check in. We requested for add bed but when we enter our room, there is no extra bed added. So we called to the front desk to complain. And the PIC came after half an hour. Room is spacious. Breakfast is a bit disgusting due to lots of flies flying around the food.

No doubt this resort has white sandy beach and perfect getaway from a hectic life in the city where nature and tranquility await you here in a most unique way. However, certain part of the building and facilities such as washroom, air-conditioning etc are not properly maintained. Need to improve the cleaning part and services.
