Let's make it simple here. Location is one of the best sea views in the area hands down. Good swimming pool. 40 minutes to kuantan main town. Ordered room service and the worst ever nasi goreng we have tasted ever in our lives. For some guests the food might be ok but according to me and my wife's WORST ever. Needs to update the old wing rooms. Let the pictures speak for itself. The highlight of the trip was the chinese muslim restaurant that you will see before you enter the resort. It is always full. Takes at least 45 minutes to get your order so be ready for that. But it is worth the wait. All in all it all comes to your budget and you get what you pay. If you want to go with the view, go for it. If your intention is to stay in the room. Then don't. If you want to eat. Better options are outside the hotel. Hotel food is so bad and expensive.

The resort had seen it's better days. Everything is old and outdated but I can see they are in the mist of doing some renovation works here and there. Our rooms are consider the updated version with new bathroom. Be careful is you had food inside your room as there lotsa ants and even cockroach. Pools and beaches is the best in the area and great service too from the staff. My wife drop her earrings in the sink they they managed to retrieve it while we were having our activities in the town. Thanks a lot! Overall it is a pleasant stay and sure we will be back again especially if they had updated the resort in future.

Was recommended this hotel by a local hence didn't check TA reviews and wish I did! It was everything that was said about being run down. The bathroom was really old, leaking and mouldy, wardrobe, furniture, finishes all old as well. Bar fridge was not cold even when adjusted. Tv channels were only of local variety which was really boring and limited. Room was poorly lit which means you can't even do any reading in the room. No hand or face towels so bring your own plus their towels were really old and worn. The pool and beach were the saving grace of the hotel.

The hotel is lovely, right in front of the beach, but that is not enough. There is not much activities going on, kind of dead! No water carnival (believe me, it was not Monsoon season). The place looks tired and some guests were frustrated when closing main block of the hotel and placed at the front block.

We have been to this resort multiples times for the past 8 years and loved going back bec of the beach, the location, and the hotel. Last visit was about 2 years ago, so this year we decided to go back again. We were disappointed bec the upbeat hotel was so quiet and "boring" now. There used to be a mini arcade, now gone, the live band, now an empty space, even the convenience shop seemed to have closed down. In the past, we would wait in line to play billiards bec people seemed to line up for it. Now both pool tables seemed untouched for quite a while. The rooms used to have sofa beds for "extra" bedspace for children, now it's been replaced by two small chairs. The bathroom needs renovation; towels need to be changed, now they are hard and thinner. They even cutdown on the channels, no more cartoons for my kids and news channel for me. I booked two bedrooms and both rooms' aircons were not cold. We asked the maintenance to looked at it, all they did was to bypass the switch and told us to leave the aircon on 24 hrs but that didn't solve the problem (of course not, they DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO FIX IT). We all ended up just sleeping without blankets throughout the night. They try to entice people with activities such as archery and rabbit feeding session and biking but i think it needs more marketing hype to attract participants.

Lovely place for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Stayed here with my entire family for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. Hotel is a little dated but the management is doing everything in its capacity to maintain the place. Most of the facilities are in working order and I have no complaints whatsoever. Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities found in most hotels. We booked 12 standard rooms and all rooms were upgraded to deluxe with one room upgraded to grabs deluxe! Air-cond works perfectly well and the beds and pillows are supper comfy. Shower had a continuous supply of hot water. Lovely surroundings which gives one the real feel of a beach resort. Lovely beach area with a lot of sports facilities (beach soccer, volleyball etc) are also found here. There's a sports and recreation centre where of can play table tennis and squash too. There's also a futsal and tennis court here. The lobby area has a few pool tables and a snooker table with a lovely view of the beach and pool area. The best thing about this hotel is the swimming pool which is enormous! You never have to worry about the pool getting overcrowded because there are 3 pools in all: 2 adult and 1 children's pool. Very friendly and attentive staff. Buffet breakfast comes with the room and the spread is reasonably good with an egg corner. All in all, a reasonably priced hotel that I won't mind coming back to, again and again.

Not a pleasant experience at all! We booked two rooms over a long weekend as there was a public holiday in Malaysia. On arrival, there was a very long queue at the reception and we had to wait for more than an hour in line until our turn came. Then we had to wait another 45 minutes before our room was ready. So we got our room almost 2 hours after the official check in time. The room is dated and not clean. Behind the bedside table it was full of dust and looked like it was never vacuumed. The airconditioning was poor and we got bitten by mosquitoes. On the first day we asked for extra bath mats but they never came, although we can called housekeeping about 5 times. The shower is so badly designed that the whole bathroom gets wet when we showered. The toiletries and towels are of low quality. What is nice is the pool and the beach. The saving grace for this hotel, in my opinion, is that the staff are nice, friendly and polite. Even when the hotel was fully booked, they managed to keep their calm and handled guests well. Overall would not go there again and would not recommend. This hotel needs a major upgrade!

I have stayed in legend about 6 to 7 years back when it was still a decent set up. But now, not sure what happened, they seems not maintaining the accommodation at all. The room looks so pathetic, with old and worn down furniture. I got the Villa at D block and you actually have to walk about 150 M from the main lobby. Air cond is not cold, the room was big tough with 1 or maybe 1,5 hp air cond to cater that room is almost impossible. The landscape still looks good with big swimming pool and garden.

The whole family were very disappointed (3d2n) with the rooms and villas were poorly maintained and rundown. Everyone, the kids and adults were bitten by bed bugs/dust mites. The wifi which claimed to be free but did not work. This vacation totally leaving us more tired and sicked. We will not come back again!

Stayed for 3d 2n at this hotel was terribly disaster for us with kids. Our room is at 2nd floor. The furniture in the room is out to date, looks old. Check in not smooth, have to wait for 30min for room. Then, no floor towel provided and called housekeeping but they provide it 4hours later. For 2nd day, no floor towel at all. Called 3 times, but still not provided until checkout. The next two rooms also flooded after heavy rain! This is terrible. Good points about this hotel is their pool is huge and clean. The environment at pool is not well managed with no maintenance. Too bad. Beach is clean. Breakfast is good and delicious even not variety. Overall, the stay was terrible and definitely will not return.
