Stayed for 2 nights on weekdays in standard room. Comfortable stay but maybe not for those who are particular on aesthetics - some markings on walls but room is generally clean. Body soap, towel, bottled water, water boiler, tea/coffee and cups provided. Fully functioning room and washroom, heater available. There's also a small cupboard with hangers and safety box. Wifi was working, password provided on the lobby counter. Iron and ironing board as well as water dispenser available on level 12 in a common room. Location: Hotel is 2 train stops away from Berjaya Times Square. 5 mins walk from train station (Plaza Rakyat). Just follow the sheltered walkway outside the station. Hotel lobby located at level 4 of the building. There's some shops selling food in the building; Dunkin donuts. Hotel is 1 stop away if you're heading to KWC. Food: did not try the hotel's breakfast. There's KFC across the hotel building and next to the hotel lobby (go out turn left) there's a foodcourt - went there around 2pm and most stalls have closed except for some at the back. Stalls were still open when we came at 5pm the other time. Food affordable and tasty. Heard that most of the stalls only cater to breakfast crowd. Overall, a pleasant stay :-)
If you HV very late or early buses and u wish to tke bus from pudu this hotel is the right hotel you choose. It just above the and attached with the buses station. This place is near to Petaling street and masjid jamek, central market. BT this is a bit far walking distance if towards bukit bintang. At night, this place is nothing....a surrounding is scary, most around u is all just a empty.....only Petaling street open. Day time, Saturday Sunday, u may encountered bundles of nepalis, Bangladesh, Myanmarian. And you gonna think you are not in Malaysia but u are in their country....gosh!!!!!! ...scary if u alone... Homeless everywhere.. Pedestrian fullybooked no way you go through at night..........
I stayed here with my family. It was my worst hotel experience. The photos shown here are not this place because there is no kitchen in this place. They bring food from outside. I stayed four days. All four days breakfast was same. I had to eat from outside since you cant eat this food. Photos shown here people gather round a cooking table are fake. Their reception is at 4th floor but rooms are at 13th floor. you have to use two lifts to go to the ground floor. other floors are rented to other places. There is no one to take your bags to the rooms. Only cars can go to reception at 4th floor due to height of the roof. If you come in a van then you have to carry all your bags to the reception then again to 13th or 14th floor. Rooms don't have hot water so check before whether the room has hot water. Wifi is not working for tabs. They change password time to time. you have to go to all the way to reception to get that password. I didn't see any foreigner staying here. There is no proper entrance to this place since ground floor is a bus stand. Staff are worst and you can't get simple information from them. One security man with bold hair wearing a full suit is behaving like he has come to our place to enjoy his vacation. what a place to stay?
Just checked in here.Very big, nice n comfortable room.Superb View.Just a few lights not working. And there is only one main light for a big room. This makes the room look very dark.Limited amenities.Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. But I don't see any bellmen to bringing our luggage even though there are a few staff in the lobby whom can notice that my wife is pregnant and my two kids are carrying bag as well.Would have appreciated more if someone offered to bring our luggage.would recommend for the rate, space and the view.
Safe hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Walking distance to Chinatown and Pasar Seni and LRT. Breakfast is so much better now that the hotel has taken over. Excellent value for money. Travellers need to remember that you can't expect to get more than you paid. You can even get the bus to KLIA 1 and 2 from across the road. The ticket counter is in the building linked to the hotel.
We decided to go for a last minute short trip to KL & our choice of hotel was here. We reached the hotel quite late but the staff was very accommodating. Location of the hotel was good. There was a shop that sells seafood & local food. We opted for no breakfast but there was KFC opposite the hotel itself so that was ok. The room was very spacious & there's connecting rooms also.
If you are going somewhere north or south and travelling by bus this is good hotel at pudu kl...but if u intends to shopping and walk around then its a bit hustle during night and the area is not really good to walk around at night because so many.
We stayed 7 nights in a superior queen room for about AUD$44 a night. The room had a small fridge, ensuite, and was clean and comfortable. A good breakfast was included in the room rate and staff were helpful and friendly. We like this location and usually stay in this area when in KL.The hotel is above a Malaysian food court - lots of cheap and tasty dishes available. Also around are 2 train stations, 7/11, department store etc. We usually walk to most attractions. The only thing that let this hotel down is the shocking wifi. We ended up buying a portable wifi router (usable in most countries) and a local sim card. If you already have one that's unlocked, take it with you.
Only 1 staff is manning the check in counter. During check in staff did not inform WiFi username and password at all. When ask staff say that they are restarting the network and it will take about 1 hours for WiFi to be available. After close to 2 I called from room to check about the outcome. One guy just ask me for my room number and after check just slam down the phone. I called again and was told that it will take at least another 3 to 4 hours for the WiFi to be available. Rooms very small and is very noisy due to the proximity to the train track. Bed is very uncomfortable and pillow is thin. I leaved the hotel after about 2 hours and look for another hotel.
I reach the room i found there no towel provided i need to call up for that. Dont ask for hand towel they not provide . Pillow case and bed sheet so thin and dirty i am complainin by call this but housekeeping just sent me Bangladesh man with unguilty face. Soap not provided also but navermind they give bath gel. No floor mat. I am so tired of complaining so i let it be. Wifi not functioning. People active or urgently need internet, suggested to call up before make booking. Breakfast no quality at all compare by other 3* hotel. Minimum choice and no refill even i come by 9am. They serve cold water with assence of pineapple(refer picture). So poor looking at customer still drink that such water. We not diserved this. Even i wait for 40+min while finish my breakfast the juice still not refill then i choose to going back to my room. Only 1staff working in the cafe. He also took time to collect used plate on our table .
