Our room was HUGE and had a spectacular view! I really appreciated the receptionist assisting in carrying our suitcases up the stairs. I had injured my ankle at another hotel previously that day and they picked out a room they thought would be suitable for us. It was perfect. They were so friendly and made our stay very enjoyable.

Christmas market

On the whole we enjoyed our stay, the stairs were the major problem. We were fully aware of how difficult they could be, we are just glad we were on the 2nd floor and not on the top. Bed and pillows were comfortable and clean, kitchen area basic but clean. Shower was a cubicle and was a bit tight getting in and out for us old ones, shower was a bit temperamental, could scoald you if not careful. Ideally situated for the square, restaurants ect.

Good position in old town but old, stairs sqeak, very noisy every night as below is a nightclub, cocktail bar! Very hot and no aircon, sleeping very difficult. If there was a fire, no fire sensor and stairs tight so don't believe people would survive Been told the starry hotel next door is great?

Apartment situated in a lovely old building very close to the main square and all the sights of the old town. Many good and inexpensive restaurants right on the doorstep. Apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen and modern bathroom with plenty hot water. Plenty room for a family of 4. Comfortable beds, great towels and bedding. Lovely staff at reception (3 mins walk across the square) and the night watchman was delightful when we arrived at midnight! would definitely recommend and intend to return in the near future.

Worst apartment I have ever stayed in

Durer apartment 6 was just a large room it was very dated dark and dingy and looked nothing like the pictures on the website. There was no light in the kitchenette area and it was difficult to see to make even a cup of tea. We had to move one of the bedside lamps and plug it in next to the kitchen sink as that was the only plug point available. We weren’t comfortable doing that as it seemed dangerous having a lamp plugged in next to running water. The second bedside lamp shade was torn and broken. There was no sofa in the room as in the website pictures just two hard plastic chairs for us to sit on. There was broken glass around the kitchenette sink and a disgusting and filthy scourer. In the bathroom the sink was full of holes/chips I counted about thirty and it appeared dirty as did the shower cubicle. The sink plug was also missing. All the towels were worn and extremely hard and we were only given one hand towel for the two of us. The bathroom door was tatty and looked as if it had been kicked. There were no English channels on the TV and the radiators were stone cold so no heating it was freezing. The bed had what appeared to be two single duvets on it. The next morning we had no hot water as well as no heating!
