Room was spacious and clean. AC worked well. Good hot water in shower. Staff were helpful. The location is great. The only downside which made my stay terrible was the extremely loud and continuous drilling noise from above my floor. Staff said it came from adjacent building but because the buildings are all connected, the noise and vibrations were felt in the hotel. On a weekend it was very noisy in the afternoon. Then on the Monday it started at 9 in the morning! It was continuous the whole morning. Fortunately I was checking out on the same day.

Prime location between 3 night markets, across from a 7-11 and vouge mall, friendly staff, clean rooms. My only downside is no fan in the bathroom but that's pretty insignificant compared to how everything else was so good. Also, Go walk to the river and charter a boat to see the cave, there's a surprise in there.

You will never frown at the Brown😂

Starts at the front desk with Fon and Pia… Fon was especially helpful working the day shift. My English breakfast was cook to perfection served diligently by Ang. I never have experienced a better laundry service at any hotel like at the Brown’s. Small downtown hotel with out amenities… I will stay there again next year for longer👍

Not quite as amazing as the hotel sells itself. Felt more hostel like than hotel which is fine if you know what you’re booking. The breakfast situation was very unclear. Lobby is very nice and stylish. Hotel room was fine, clean and good aircon however the bathroom was very very hot even when having cold showers it didn’t cool down. Our room was top of 4 floors and there is no lift. There are signs in the room which offer help with your bags but by that point we had already carried them up ourselves. Signs also suggest that the hotel owners are a little bitter about the construction/building regulations as the reason for there being no lift as well as an odd sign about the placement of the air conditioning not being exactly where the architect originally had planned. The hotel advertised a bag storage facility which we wanted to take advantage of as we arrived in Krabi Town a good few hours before checkin - be aware this just meant leaving bags in the lobby, there was no locked storage room, so remove anything valuable into a smaller rucksack to keep with you if dropping off larger bags/cases. Overall we had a good night sleep and staff were very friendly and polite. Was great for one night passing through. Wasn’t a fan of the big hand print on the headboard left by previous guests though…

The hotel is very nice and clean. No elevators. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The only bad thing was that it was far from the restaurants and all the popular areas(30 min taxi ride)

I had to check out early because I found ants in my bed and on the tables. Aside from that, customer service was amazing. There is a 7-eleven across the street, and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. There is no elevator, but staff will help you with your luggage.

Great place to stay

I have stayed at the Brown Hotel a few times and it never disappoints. It is a very comfortable hotel where the staff takes every care to make it a pleasant stay. Will certainly stay again.

Great place

Lovely hotel in main Krabi town. Close to local shops, restaurants & markets. A great please to see the real side of the town away from the touristic area. The staff area so helpful and kind.

Missing a lift.

I believe they couldnt get planning permission to install a lift, so getting my luggage up to the 4th floor was challenging. I must've missed that bit when I booked. Still, the room was cozy and well appointed, and I love a nice shower room. Very helpful receptionist. Located right in the heart of Krabi town, a nice modern transit hotel.

Best hotel location in Krabi - 1 block from the river & half block from 3 markets. Very nice, clean, safe hotel. Note: there is no elevator in the building.

We enjoyed our one night stay! Everything was clean and very comfortable, and there were also nice touches like a stocked mini fridge. Very convenient area to walk to local shops/night market. Would gladly stay here again and recommend to other travelers!
