We stayed at the Lane Bay Villas for a second time this year and we are again so delighted of our stay. The staff is very polite and always trying to make you feel comfortable or provide you with everything you need. The house cleaning was excellent. The see view from the front villa is amazing and having breakfast every day on the front table with this view was amazing. We felt among the nature with all the natural noise of birds, and water, it was great coming back here and thank you so much to Rot and her entire team for making us feel in a fairytale again ! Also thank you for making us last year so early in the morning ( 5 a.m.) breakfast and helping us with our luggage as our flight was at 9 a.m. and we had to leave very early 🙏 We appreciate all your kindness and hospitality ❤️

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The views were undeniably spectacular and the villa was beautiful. The staff were extremely accommodating and willing to assist in making our stay as comfortable as possible. I’d recommend getting a car if you’re staying here multiple nights as it’s difficult/expensive to get a taxi or grab from the location.

This was the worst, WORST experience ive I've had at a resort in awhile. So the biggest issue is the absolute ghost town of management, they leave their staff that cant speak passable English to run the show. When we arrived we determined that out safe didnt work, our TV didnt work and for over 400 a night the toilet hasnt been Westernized to accommodate toilet paper and our shower leaked, so at 1AM it would start pouring water out. Huh? The "buffet" breakfast is non existant and you are out in the middle of nowhere with no options. They only have 4 villas to maintain it shouldn't be so hard to make sure things work. As well, the Chuba "2" bedroom is NOT a 2 bedroom unless you consider the death trap of stairs up the roof cave a room. Noone can use that room. The two pros is the view which is stunning and the staff including the handyman really do try hard, but not worth the price at all.

The Lane Bay Villa is about 30 minutes from the main Krabi beach area, so you would need transportation, which they can help with. There is a very nice restaurant across the street about 2 minutes walk. They have a fried chicken breast with fries if you have children that do not like traditional Thai food. The Villa also has a restaurant which we had breakfast at every morning, we also played pool and drank beers at night at the Villa restaurant. The guy working it was very friendly, when ever we came back for the day someone would be standing there to greet us. The attention we received from the staff was very personal. They seemed to be all very local and possibly family if not good friends. The owner organized an amazing fishing day for my 14 year old son and I. The boat was not perfect by any means, but it was very sea worthy. The guy was a local, the fishing rods were a very tattered and used. I found the day to be perfect, he taught my son to use just a line not a rod and reel, we were catching small fish almost as fast as we could unhook the fish, they were small but it was fun. The boat was a traditional long boat for the area, heavly used but the real deal. While we were out on the water I saw new tour boats racing around with many tourist filling the boats, very commercialized. We saw the real side of this area in the boat we were in, I felt bad for the other tourist, mind that my experience is not for everyone I understand some people want perfection, not reality
