My friend and I stayed here for a couple of nights a week or so ago and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very modern, which doesn't really fit the surroundings, but as I said, we were pleasantly surprised. The A29 bus from the airport stops at Diamond Hill station (ask the driver) and from there it's a short walk to the hotel. Unfortunately they are doing renovations and stuff all around so at first we were scared we had ended up at the wrong place. It was dirty and it didn't look like there'd be a nice hotel for miles. I would not want to walk alone here at night. But we found our hotel in the middle of dust and car workshops. The first thing that hits you is the very strong smell of men's perfume, which honestly was a bit unpleasant and we could do without. The staff is nice, they know good english and is casually dressed. Maybe a bit too casual in their hoodies and sparkly t-shirts, it did work with the feel of the hotel though. The rooms are exactly as promised on the website, modern and very very comfortable. I do wish we could have stayed here longer. I do think it's sad that a hotel like this is located in the area it was, if not for the location I would definitely recommend this to more people.

We had four nights at the Penta. Very happy with our stay there. Did not eat there but the buffet looked amazing. Some staff did not speak sufficient English. Beds and pillows very comfortable though rooms a little small.

The hotel is new, clean and charmingly decorated. Guest room is well equipped and large enough considring HK's standard. Reception people were nice with smiling face - it is not easy to find in HK. Even though not very conveniently located - some 10 minutes walk to the nearest MTR station, this hotel is worth staying.

The bed is very comfortable and fair enough space for putting our belongings. I like the design with Hong Kong style very much, it's a very nice experience to stay at your hotel. I will try the Beijing one in my next trip. Thank you very much!

Getting to the property was easy as pie; Check-in was quick and friendly everything was explained well in detail; Room was Good for solo traveler like myself; Over the 4 nights stayed, room was spotless cleaned by friendly housekeeping lady. Would stay again when in the area!

It is the first time for me to live in Pentalhotel in Hong Kong. In general, the hotel is good. The room price is also not high. But the area of the room should be larger. In addition, An extractor should be installed in the toliet.

A nice hotel with stylish design Room is clean, bed is large and conforable Counter service and staff are nice Couple of international TV channels are covered 24-hour gym but pool should extend the opening hour to 9pm

The Pentahotel is a great looking hotel on the inside, very clean with great amenities such as a Gym, Pool, Bar, Pool Tables etc. It may have been the time of year, but it was very busy with school children on trips. This meant a lot of noise and kids running around, so we did not utilise the hotel to its full potential, however we did have a good time. Food is very tasty, although a little overpriced. Breakfast was around £13.50 (at the current exchange rate) and dinner was £39 on the weekdays and £50 on the weekend, both were buffet options. They do have pizza bar on the ground floor which is very good and a bit more reasonable cost wise. In terms of the hotel's location. There is not a lot around the area is it situated in. Everyday we got the MTR (5-10 minute walk from the hotel) to various locations throughout Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. Getting an Octopus card is certainly beneficial as well, you can get these from the Information points in the station and cost 150 HKD (50HKD for the deposit and 100 HKD credit)

The room and especially the bathroom has not been cleaned. There is mold in the sink. In the shower I found an opened package of a previous guest which wasn't removed. During my stay I didn't have the impression that the room was cleaned at all.

I liked the visual appointments and the overall design of the room; I could tell the hand of an architect-artist. The room was a good size for a solo person; for two people it could be a little crowded. One thing I found unnecessarily complicated and actually annoying were the lights - the many switches and combinations of the switch positions. I could also use a little more light around the wash-basin where I was shaving.
