Room was huge and comfortable with a great view of the Harbour. Front office staff were friendly and patient in accommodating my family’s request. Shuttle Bus to Kwun Tong MTR was a nice touch. Hotel is also near apm Mall with a good selection of retail, F&B and a supermarket. Best of all, room rates were reasonable. Highly recommended!
Allocated room with moldy net curtains and moldy room corner. Chairs were old, unsightly & looked dirty. Requested for room change. Management made feeble excuse that none was available and instructed cleaner to clean mold on lower wall. Informed management this was unacceptable - had to explain this was against hygiene regulations to spray clean whilst the air con was on and would cause mold to spread. Demanded again for change of room. Was then allocated to a bigger and slightly cleaner room. Shower curtains flapped against the legs during shower. Guests should ensure all accessories are put back in original places, as on-check out reception instructed staff to check no items were missing. I was told to open my luggage to check that I had not taken their adaptor plug. I explained I had to plug it elsewhere as no plug socket in the bathroom. They found the plug in the room where I said it was. The only reason we booked with this hotel was because we thought we had reassurance regarding standards from the Cozi hotel chain.
Hi Guys, we made a family trip to this hotel and stayed in the adjoining twin bedrooms. Why we chose it: 1. It was the cheapest one for a duration of 11 nights. 2. Accommodated a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (10,5 yrs). 3. Gave more space via two separate rooms and 4 twin beds than most HK hotels. 4. Tea coffee replaced daily. Extra pillows provided when requested. Very quick to respond as well. 5. Megabox and APm mall are.closeby for western friendly eateries. The cafe in hotel corner and Macdonald is only wester optipn nearby that we saw nearby. The good: 1. Rooms were as advertised in size and bed number 2. Full service hotel cleaning. Cleaned daily and towels replaced. 3. Staff are few, but helpful. Front office gave late checkout. Maintenance Helped me find specific screwdriver to dismantle a toy. Concierge got.me a large taxi to carry all my oversized luggage. 4. Hotel Shuttle bus is on time and runs as advertised 5. Quick meals available for fussy eaters from nearby Macdonalds or snacks from 2 x 7/11s. 6. Connects to MTR ag two stations. The bad 1. Hotel is in a business district far and away from most places on Hong Kong side or any usual touristy places. Taxi fare is at least $150 HK one way to get there. 2. Though cleaned daily Cleaning level is less than optimal. We found nail clippings and dried noodles and lots of dust on the carpet. A vacuuming is needed. 3. Hotel is a hotspot for Chinese package tourists so lobby is.often full of them. 4. Hotel doesn't have a restaurant of its own to cater multicultural palates. There's Chinese restaurants nearby and on first floor but kids wont eat that. 5. City view rooms on lower floors 1~12 first look out over shanty terraces. Although you get.glass towers a bit beyond that. 6. Beds are horrible. Hard as brick and in need of a mattress topper. TV is limited to Chinese channels x 5. Can connexmcy USB and watch from a hard disk tho. 7. MTR is also difficult to navigate with kids. Esp when to get anywhere nice from the hotel you have to take 20 steps or more and 3 or line changes over 30 to 60 minute duration in very full and busy train cars.
There is serious safety concern about staying at this hotel. Someone had been sneaked into my hotel room every SINGLE day while I left the room since first day. I put the "Do Not Disturb" sign up for my whole stay. I had complained to the front desk SEVERAL times to address my concern. However, my room was still being entered the following days. How would I know? My slippers were moved by someone opening the main door. The bath mat was moved by someone opening the bathroom door. The chair was moved while someone going around the room. I cannot figure out why someone has to come into my hotel room. To set up a hidden camera? search for valuable ? Please enlighten me Hotel COZi !!!!
It’s within walking distance from Ngau Tau Kok MTR in an industrial district. Our room was with sea view but other than that, the hotel didn’t have much to offer. No hotel owned restaurant onsite. They do have a small gym (but couldn’t access using our room key, had to go the reception and asked someone to open it). During the week we stayed, this hotel was filled with mainland China tour groups and sometimes very noisy when the crowds gathered at the lobby, sometimes the tourist buses parked right outside the hotel which could block the taxi approach.
Decent place with excellent views. Spacious and clean rooms Options for food are a bit limited. They should show some flexibility to accommodate when international travellers arrive a bit before check in time. It was not a very busy duration.
Great view from our room on the 29th floor. Rooms are OK but kinda small. Hotel also offers free transport service to the city. Staff are also friendly and corteous and can speak good english. Will definitely stay here again :)
This hotel is geared toward mainland China your groups and it shows. Front desk staff is rude, gym is a joke and requires special key for entrance. They even check the room and make you wait before check out to ensure you don't steal anything. I'm 6'1" and twin bed was tiny and uncomfortable.
Good hotel with nice harbour view, big and clean room, comfort beds and pillows. Amenities are well prepared, got extra drinking water for 2 bottles. However, shower area did not drain very well in the first night, have to wait for a while before I can continue my shower time.
"A hotel’s front-desk team serves as the first impression. How staff members interact with guests can set the tone for the entire stay." by Doug Kennedy It took me standing over an half hour for a check~in process at the front-desk. How ridiculous! All about the fault of both the hotel and the travel agency miscommunication issue. The travel agent said if it's ok to let the guest check in the room right away, forget about the remarks between their documents. But the front desk team kept questioning the remarks "specifically for PRC guests only". Is it a racist problem? The payment was settled through Trip.com already. Was it my problem for standing there over 30 mins?? I wouldn't stay here for my ongoing monthly trip in here anymore. Hotel Cozi, totally disappoint me. I would rather pay for an extra money, which more worth than staying in here.
