The beautiful penthouse was a wonderful experience - very relaxing. The ambiance was very special the minute we entered the suite. The furnishings, top of the line kitchen, the big screen TV, and the wonderful walk-in showers were just perfect. To be able to sit on the lanai in the afternoon with a glass of wine watching the surfers in the water and then spend early mornings drinking coffee and watching fishermen in their dories was a real treat. The Beach House next door was a pleasant surprise - excellent food, good cocktails and fabulous views - and is a must. We'll be back.

We truly found paradise! The penthouse is the perfect place to enjoy the "perfect" holiday. From the sunrises to the sunsets, and watching the turtles swim by, and see whales in the distance. It was all breathtaking. We celebrated our 28th anniversary here and plan to spend many more here. It is paradise on earth.

It's fun to watch the surfers ride the waves and the huge green sea turtles play near the shore, while the outrigger canoe club members paddle by. And then, there are the starry nights. Simply spectacular.

The Toyabrown Penthouse is located here in the Poipu area of Kauai, on top of a small, exclusive four-story residential building overlooking Kuhio Bay and breathtaking coastline views, and was remodeled by Jim Toyabrown.

The penthouse is meticulously cleaned, and now has a beautiful oceanfront living, dining and gourmet kitchen area, a serene master suite featuring a Simmons Beautyrest firm queen mattress on a custom wood platform bed frame and fine linens, and the all-important second bathroom off the kitchen area. Custom furnishings, objets d’art, handcrafted shoji privacy doors, and a generous use of tasteful granite, marble, exotic woods and stone throughout: A true masterpiece.

The well planned lighting scheme and quiet ceiling fans are appreciated. HDTV with HD channels, land line telephone, and wireless internet are included. Also: On-site parking, elevators, 24-hour security.
