Comfortable 2nd Floor Unit

We’ve been visiting Kauai for the last 30 years and stay at the KP.This unit was very clean with a well equipped kitchen (i.e., dishes, glasses, seasonings, etc.). We were greeted with a wonderful snack basket including sparkling water. After a long day of travel, this was a pleasant surprise. I know this sounds odd but HUGE PROPS to the owners for upgrading to standard height toilets. So many units have the original ones and it can be awkward for taller people. lolAll in all, a great unit (and very quiet considering its proximity to the main street) I would stay in again.

Pool is COLD. Condo really needs some updates.

This one is hard for me. The hosts were great and very responsive. We loved the location for the proximity to an amazing beach for surfing, snorkeling, and kids swimming. The Athletic Club is lovely but the pool is cold! It wasn’t just us. All the adults at the pool the entire week rarely got in due to the temperature, even though it was hot outside. As far as the condo, the pictures had me excited but the reality was that it severely needs to be painted and caulked at a minimum. Peeling paint on the ceiling, slatted doors that let all light and sound through, really old windows with broken shutters, slow draining bathroom sink, worn out tub with old faucet and poor water pressure to name a few issues. It just felt old and icky. The king bed was comfortable and the beach toys/chairs and stocked kitchen were helpful. I unfortunately feel like this condo and the pool needed an accurate review. We would honestly buy this place and fix it up, but we would not stay in it again as is.

Great Stay!

Rochelle the owner was terrific and very responsive! The unit was very clean and well appointed. It was one of the buildings that was close to the road, but not a problem in terms of car noise. Having access to the Poipu athletic club was big bonus.

South Shore

Nice place with updated appliances, clean and comfortable. Access to beaches was our favorite and super easy to get around. A quick walk across the street for food and supplies. Place is stocked with beach amenities and staff are very friendly and helpful. Hosts were attentive and easy to get a hold of for questions and let us stay an extra few hours due to a delayed fight (we got an extra beach day 🏝️) and it was easy to just add the cost to our account. Pool and hotub across the street but we were here for beaches so didn’t bother us. Great plantation shutters and nice island feel to the place.

Very clean, great location

Nicely remodeled unit close to athletic club and shopping. Was very quiet, no road noise, and easy access. The hosts were fantastic, got back within minutes with my email questions and were very accommodating. I would highly recommend this unit and Kiahuna Plantation. This is our 2nd visit in 6 months and we are already planning our next trip. If you have never stayed at this resort, you absolutely should stay here. It's beautiful, great location, great amenities and a very relaxing vacation.
