Cute cozy hotel

We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms although small are very clean and comfortable. Nice pool and the staff are all so nice and helpful. As other have noted, it is a bit far from busier locations but we didn’t mind that. Local transportation is very close and convenient. It is too bad you can’t swim right out front, but the view is amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great little hotel, away from the crazy scenes in Chaweng. Staff are very helpful, rooms and resort was well kept. The beach isn't the best for swimming , but you're about a 20 min walk or 5 min scooter ride away from Lamai beach.

Very relaxing hotel, beautiful rooms (we had one by the beach for three nights which was stunning) and friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay again!

Ok but a bit to be desired

The resort is on a lovely quiet beach in Lamai which is a bit further than where we wanted to be in Koh Samui. Overall it was a pleasant stay but the rooms could use some updating and the beds were not comfortable. We had to ask the front desk to clean the pool as it was COVERED with bugs and unswimmable on our first day there. The staff was very friendly and the inclusive breakfast was really nice.

A perfect stay at Lazy Days.

The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were all very friendly, especially Ashleigh who communicated with us daily at breakfast to insure that we were having an enjoyable stay and if we needed anything. The food was delicious with a mixture of Thai and Western food, although we ate mainly the Thai food which I have to say was fantastic. We were on holiday with our one year old son and he loved the pool and the the small water slide, and the attention he received from all the staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel or returning to stay again. The position of the hotel on the beach is fantastic. A perfect stay and great value for money!

Truly relaxing stay

The hotel is a cozy den that lives up to its name. From the moment you enter the property, you are greeted with very helpful staff and the serenity that the resort provides. The look and feel of the place is absolutely simplistic and comfortable at the same time. The pool is great for a lazy afternoon. You also have access to the beach which feels private coz you don't have anyone else around except the hotel guests. We stayed in the bungalow facing the pool and it was great. You would expect it to be noisy but that wasn't the case atall. The cleanliness levels are very good. The hotel staff arranged for us a self-drive car rental and drop to the airport at very reasonable rates. It would be advisable to opt for this in case you intend to rent a car. The hotel is located right by the beach and close to the grand father / grand mother rocks. The other beaches and the markets are close by (provided you have a vehicle). The hotel is exactly as represented in the pictures. We had a very warm stay at the Lazy days and would definitely stay here again when we visit Koh Samui next.

Hotel was really good, rooms nice and staff were helpful. I would 100% stay again. Nothing major, but the shower was never hot and when the air conditioning was on any lower than 25, it would shoot ice out of it. I would wake up with bits of ice on me in the middle of the night, but other than that it was a great place.

great 2n stay

it was a great stay. love our Mediterranean-styled bungalow. food was ok except they just need to provide halal food no pork if theres muslim guests during that time. and the hotel should provide the iron too. close by to lamai beach and hinya hin tai.

The beach is not for swimming nor wetting - all rocks and muddy a few drainage pipes too The pool is very very small The location is too far out from Lamai village - 30+ min walk in the heat The bungalows are very small and next to each other no grounds to walk This "resort" should be offered on pay as you stay terms only!!!

Lovely relaxed vibe hotel

Lovely relaxed vibe here at Lazy Days hotel and the staff here are lovely and cannot do enough for you. Close enough to jump in a cab or even hire a car to look around the island. 5 min cab ride from the local town Lamai which is a real Thai town with pop up cocktail bars, nice restaurants and markets. Very quiet here at the hotel which was just what I was looking for so I could relax. Lovely food for all meals and the included breakfast is a bonus. Clean sheets everyday and the room smelt fresh. Brilliant air con with no issues.

Really friendly staff, always kept things clean and tidy. Fairly basic accommodation, but all you really need!! Good shower and plenty of space in the room for bags etc. Good, varied breakfat provided and restaurant open all day. Minimal cost for food

Cute Boutique Hotel

Small and friendly boutique hotel located in a secluded area of Lamai. Clean and basic with everything you need. Pool is small but has a slide for kids or adult. Beach and sea view is so breathtaking that you would just spend all afternoon lying on the sun bed.

hotel is a bit far from lamai beach

Motorbike rental from hotel is expensive, 250B. The location of the hotel is not convenient, except it close to the famous Sabeinglae restaurant in a walking distance. The beach from the hotel is not clean, sea water is not clear. It is not recommended to swim. There is some smell in the room which I don't know how to describe. The good thing is outside the room there is hanging area for wet clothes. The size of the garden room is not big. Breakfast choices is not much but food is ok. Main dishes different everyday. 1 thing I want to say is the air conditioning in the room having some problem, it was dropping ice and caused the bed sheet wet. The receptionist refused to change room and refused to change the bed sheet. End up we need to control the temperature and beware of dropping ice again.

Rude staff, bad location

My wife and I had a few days to spend on Samui and were looking to rent our own little bungalow. We read glowing reviews about this place, so decided to give it a shot. We had high expectations coming in, which led to dissapointment. Overall, it was a nice place to stay but I would not stay here again. Some thoughts: 1. Staff was EXTREMELY rude. We are used to very nice, friendly people in Thailand, but found the staff very cold and unhelpful. They were very snappy and weren't willing to help with any of the numerous problems we encountered. Most notably, the internet went out for 2 days and the staffs only response was "to bad for you". This made it very hard to work out our travel plans. 2. Beds are not memory foam like listed on the resorts website. They are the typical rock hard Asian matresses. 3. The beach sucks. Yes, it is a nice view, but is completely unusable for swimming. No, this might not be the end of the world, but if you want to walk along the sand or swim in the ocean, why would you settle for this places when their are hundreds of other hotels on Samui along nice ocean strips? The pro's of staying here were it was definately fun to have our own little house. Breakfast was pretty good. We rented scooters across the street from the resort for 200 baht a day which allowed us to travel to more exciting parts of the island. Their really is not much to do around the resort unless you want to walk a long way in the hot sun or have vehicle.
