Staff was friendly, breakfast better than expected give it was only supposed to be continental but include some eggs and meat options. Room was a good size and comfortable, with a decent size fridge and microwave. Perfect!

Terrible stay. We visited for an out of town sporting competition. Room felt neglected. Smoke alarm and thermostat were ripped off the wall, hanging by wires. I was put on the 2nd floor (not an issue) however, we had a full bag cart and our room was at the end of the hall and down 4 stairs and around a corner. It was impossible to get the bag cart down said stairs. Ice machine was broken. Hotel advertises there is a restaurant in the hotel, however, upon check-in, we were told the restaurant is only for continental breakfast in the morning. Parking lot was not well maintained with lack of snow removal and zero salt on icy patches. My family member slipped and twisted their knee.

Bed was very comfortable, pillows were amazing! Breakfast was as expected. No surprises. There was a lot of noise in the hall, but that was the people across the hall, not the hotel. The location was exactly what we needed and the price was best in Waterloo. We will be back.

The room was spotless, fully supplied with coffee maker, fridge, microwave iron and hair dryer. Lots of clean towels and the nicest sheets I have ever slept on. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn’t get to sample the breakfast as the room was full and we had to get to an appointment. Great stay and reasonably priced.

We were given a room on the first floor- this was unacceptable to us. We requested a change of room and got the 2nd floor. Ideally I would have preferred a room in the newer section of the hotel. The old section shows signs of being run down on the outside- the mesh on the windows was torn. Thus can be seen from the outside of the hotel
