This is Japan. Hotel standards are very high. No exception here. Good location. Surrounding area was surprisingly interesting if you have a rental car.

A good hotel as a base for sightseeing in the area

Dinner and breakfast were excellent with good choices and low costs. Kitami is fairly wide spread and there were few alternative eating places nearby. The railway station is just across the road, a post office about 5 minutes away and there was a small convenience store (Lawsons?) close by. Staff were excellent and helpful but with limited English. The laundry was also very good. The only reason we marked comfort down was the beds were hard though, by the 3rd night, we were used to them and slept well. Having a car is important for exploration of course and there are hire car places in the area.

立地がよく、部屋も快適でした。ただ、フロントでは先に宿帳を書かせて、その名前を見てから宿泊者情報を確認しているので、すごく時間がかかっていました。必ずしも1グループ1部屋で並んでいるわけではないので、もう少し改善した方がいいかなと思いました。朝食はもう少し北海道っぽいものが欲しかったです。
