Peaceful bach close to the lake, in the heart of Kinloch

This bach has a large outdoor eating area.
It is quiet and safe, and away from road frontage,
There is a local store, cafe, boat ramps and tramping
The walking/mountain biking tracks to the neighbouring bays very popular.
Kinloch is 20 minutes drive from Taupo, which has great cafes, shopping, and numerous tourist attractions.
There is a lovely safe beach that is in easy walking distance.
Special conditions:
The bach is at the back of our property but has its own entrance fenced off area and parking. There is a private fence between the two properties.

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels); however bedroom and bathroom linen is available on request for an additional charge.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchenette and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find a TV with a DVD player. Other standard amenities include an electric kettle, an ironing board, and a dining table.

This was a perfect location for us to stay for the Kinloch Offroad Challenge. Only 5 minutes walk from the start/finish. We stayed for 7 nights and spent time checking out Taupo while there. So glad we did this, as Kinloch has so much character and it was easy to travel the 20 min drive into Taupo for the touristy things we did in town and such a relaxing place to come back to. Out of Auckland, Wellington and Rotarua this was the highlight of our 3 week trip.

It was a perfect size for us as a couple. Very tidy and generally well equipped. We were happy to take our own linen and towels etc. The only thing we felt was missing was a hair dryer.

Host communication was good. Checking process seamless.Did not realise it was a studio room/bach until arrival but suited our needs.Was clean and functional.Dated but functional and price reflected this. Would suggest that more appropriate for able bodied folk due to the access to the property.The community and area were amazingly nice and the locals super helpful. Would definitely recommend for a getaway spit. Would also stay again. Amazing comnunity

Great Batch and place to stay. Really nice town

We had a lovely stay. Thank you. The only feedback would be that it became hot for two days since it was sunny and the temperature went up to 26 degrees. Maybe another pedestal fan would be a good idea during the summer.
