In a quiet street, a big back yard with seating area where to meet people. Breakfast is free which is nice. Facilities are good, there's even hot water. Vinyl thursday 5 minutes walk away. If arriving downtown, it can take long time to reach Half Way Tree by public transport during rush hour. Enjoyed my stay!

Friendly staffs, good free breakfast and coffee. I enjoyed to stay here!!! especially having breakfast and nice coffee in the courtyard with good weather!!!! It was my favorite time :) I met many good people here. This place makes ur trip better!!!

We enjoyed our stay in the Reggae Hostel, Ocho Rios, sufficiently that we booked in here for a couple of days. It is close to Halfway Tree transport centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Had my query sorted out by the time we arrived. Just up the road Ziggy's does lovely food at reasonable prices. There is a good kitchen plus they make a delicious FREE breakfast for the residents each morning! The coffee is to die for ...

It was my first experience at Reggae Hostel Kingston and I was absolutely pleased with the ideal location which was close to downtown. The area also has quite a few great amenities. Staff was excellent, they were very helpful with any issues. All staff there were very professional and funny which created a great atmosphere. Security was great kept guard and ensured we felt safe . Congratulations to great organization and management, definitely a must visit again.. Thanks to all staff ...

Everyone that stayed here was great! Its a short walk to little dunns river which is a small beach with a water fall lots of locals here! Its also across the street to mystic mountain! Jerk chicken can be found cooking right outside for cheap! There's a china man with a convenience store across the street as well!

Our stay at Reggae Hostel in Kingston was good. The hostel has a nice chill out area and friendly staff who are ready to answer all your questions about Kingston. The only downside was the 8-bed dorm we stayed in which was very cramped, hot and it felt like we were breathing in the same air that someone had just exhaled. There was not even really space to put our backpacks on the floor. The air condition wasn’t working, which didn’t make it better... Soo we would definitely recommend this hostel, but spend an extra dollar and get the 6-bed dorm 😊

Good place with outstanding people! I loved my stay at Reggae Hostel, close to public transport what makes very easy to move around. There is supermarket close by and they organise a bus to go to Dub Club every Sunday, as must go bar with amazing view of kingston

We just stayed here one night after arriving from Kingston Airport. The hostel is in a good neighborhood. You can park your car behind the gates. The evening was a bit noisy cause people were sitting outside talking loud for a while, but's that's part of staying in a hostel for us, so no problem. Enough space to sit outside. Breakfast was Jamaican style and delicious!

Had the privilege of spending the night there a few years ago. The accommodations are clean, reasonably priced and serve as an excellent jumping-off point to delve deeply into Jamaican culture generally and the metropolis of Kingston in particular. The owner is extremely intelligent, kind and a great conversationalist. He has a vast knowledge of the island and its culture and much more besides! Can't recommend the place highly enough.

Nice place for staining in the center of the city with helpfull and communicative staff! Near the best place in Kingston, shopping center, atm and eating and meeting points ;) Place where you can meet people around the world, find new information and advices! Nice breakfast included ;)
