I love Holiday Inn Expresses! but sadly some of them do NOT have the upgraded pillow top mattresses. You must be very specific at this one as they only have a few so far. Stay away from the elevator and the pool for obvious reasons. And I don't get this powdered egg thing - I mean seriously are we in WWII? I say if you can't offer something nutritional and good, don't offer it! the Front Desk team were great,
We had a one night stay in this hotel and it was a nice experience. Beds are small though for us. There's free breakfast and wifi. Parking is great! Will be back here again when we will be visiting Grand Canyon again
Very nice hotel, clean, updated and friendly staff. Just off Hwy 40 south of the interstate. Easy on and off. Breakfast was good. Wi-Fi not as fast as we would like it but sufficient. Room rate was reasonable for that time of year.
Rough night here...check in was slow and check out was worse. Apparently only the manager could print a receipt so they took our email to get to us later... the shower was cold... it came with a note to push to left and wait for hot water... but hot water never came... I wouldn't put this hotel on my list again for sure...
We spent 1 night only, in the route to Grand Canyon. But if I would stayed more, I'd choose this hotel. Room offered all we needed, well equiped, and strategically located. Complimentary Breakfast, simple, but good enough for those who ll get the road.
Our room was clean and comfortable. Went to the front desk to request a luggage rack/stand for my suitcase because there wasn't one in the room. I was told one would be brought to our room. After returning from dinner and finding no luggage rack, I spoke with the night manager (now on duty) and was told that this Holiday Inn did not have any luggage racks/stands for their rooms. I ended up using the ironing board to put my suitcase on - there was no other space available. I felt the rate was rather expensive compared to other Holiday Inn Express & Suites.
The room was very nice, spacious. Breakfast was good, friendly staff. This was a last minute pick and didn't disappoint. Picked this place driving between las Vegas and sedona. Also near keepers of the wold wildlife sanctuary.
We took shelter here during a crazy wind storm that kicked up so much dust visibility was reduced on the highways and our iPhones alerted us not to travel. We did not plan to stop in here, but what a great place to end up. Nice pool, comfortable room. The kids were sure happy.
My fiance and I are moving across the country for work, and as such we have had many hotel rooms over the last room paid for by his company through faxed credit card authorizations. Today, we woke up knowing that there was a chance we would not make it from New Mexico to Kingman. As such, I called the hotel at 8 am AZ time to cancel, and was told that I could cancel any time before 6 PM without any fees or charges, and I elected to do this just in case we were able to make it. At 5 PM, we decided to stop for the night and stay in Flaggstaff for the night. I called the hotel and asked to cancel my reservation, and I was informed that the credit card had been charged already and that could not be reversed. I explained to him that I had called earlier in the morning and was informed that I could cancel up until 6 PM with no charges. Again, he said there was absolutely nothing he could do and that the card had already been charged. Again, I told him that I was informed earlier that the charges would not be put through until 6 PM, and that he needed to find me someone who could help me. He told me that he was the front desk manager and there was nothing that could be done. I asked him if I would need to have a charge-back put through, and again he said there was nothing he could do. After I Said "For the third time", he slammed the phone down on me. Absolute worst customer service I've ever had anywhere, and I've had front desk people that were less than wonderful. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone with this level of service. We did call corporate, and were told that the card was never charged and the reservation was cancelled. Time will tell what is actually the case.
The hotel was very clean; entrance, room, and bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very quiet.I would stay here again. There was no restaurant or room service. There was small snacks available.
