We stayed at a total of 6 B&B's in Ireland this trip and the riverside was by far the best. The owner was Really helpful and friendly finding us great places for dinner and shopping in the area. The B&B is walking distance from an old iron bridge from the 1800's, great for pictures or just an evening walk. It is also walking distance from downtown the room was nice, bathroom was average.

We were unable to stay in this lovely BnB this time while in Killorglin as it was closed for the few days we were there. However the proprietor Geraldine apologized for not being able to accommodate us and kindly directed us to another establishment just across the river. I have stayed at Riverside House before ( my first BnB experience) and had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was wonderful and the river side location and views are a treat. If I was to return to Killorglin it would again be my first choice.

We just left Riverside House after two nights. What a perfect spot. We fell in love just driving up. Besides being right on the Ring of Kerry drive, the B&B is situated right on the river with a trail available for an enjoyable stroll. It just got better inside. We had huge picture windows with gorgeous views in our comfortable room. Awaking to a wonderful breakfast in the dinning room was an added bonus. We recommend this place for anyone sightseeing the Ring. Killgorlin is a much more relaxed and less touristy area than congested Killarney.

The B&B is located just on the edge of town with a private car park. We were easily able to walk to everything. The B&B features several uncommonly spacious and well equipped common rooms and overlooks the river.

Very nice bedroom. Breakfast was OK. View of river was spectacular. Grounds need a lot of work. Owners try very hard to work help and work with guests. Upstairs lounge was a very unique feature that really showed off the view.

One of our group was unwell and not feeling up to the Ring of Kerry drive. We arrived mid-morning at Riverside and Geraldine didn't hesitate a second to allow her to check into a room much earlier than normal so that she could spend the day in bed. She helped to make our trip into a great memory, rather than a stressful day. Thanks Geraldine.

A beautiful and quiet location right in killorglin . rooms were clean and large. Its a nice b and b so the usual guest interactions are to be expected. Our hosts were very kind and offered execlent advice and cwonversation. Right amount of privacy and interaction. Breakfast was good too. I would stay again

Geraldine is a very welcoming and smiling person. The breakfast was delicious and bedroom was lovely with a great view of the land. Our daughter forgot her cuddly cat and Géraldine was kind enough to send it back to us by post. We recommend this place without hesitation.

We stayed one night on our way north to Galway. We found Killorglin and the Riverside house to be a nice stop along the way. Breakfast and coffee were excellent with a great view of the river from the dining room. Thank you for the hospitality. We enjoyed our brief stay.

The Riverside House provided clean, comfortable, very reasonably priced accommodations, a lovely breakfast, and sincere and gracious communication with me when I stopped in for one night without a reservation. If you're looking for the Hilton, this isn't it. It's a family run, in-home B&B with no frills clean, comfortable rooms. Was it perfect? No-water swirled around my feet while I took a shower, but not because the drain was clogged. Rather, the water pressure was so great, the drain couldn't keep up at first-hardly something to complain about! The WiFi was a bit intermittent in my room at times, but worked very well from the reading room. To my thinking, minor things that did nothing to diminish the quality of my stay or the satisfaction of having a true Irish B&B experience. If you want a genuine experience, minor quirks and all, this is a great location with very nice hosts and a great location. I would stay at Riverside House again without hesitation!
