Awesome ski on ski off location

Convenience of being right off Great Eastern trail was amazing! Hot tub/sauna combo is also tough to beat after a day on the slopes. Loved this place!

This property is everything claims it is, we skied in and skied out every day, beautiful views, has everything you need for a great family ski week. Highly recommend it, the owners are extremely responsive and helpful and lastly, the place is very clean.

Nice place for a weekend retreat.

We wanted a place that we could be comfortable just hanging out. This was it. There are great hiking trails near by and the hot tub was just what I needed.

Beautiful and comfortable

My husband and I stayed in this unit for five nights and it was lovely. Clean, well equipped and close to the mountain. We were there early in the season so ski and ski out was not yet an option, but frankly it didn’t matter because Bear Mountain Lodge is a 3-4 minute ride and Killington maybe 8-9 minutes. We would def stay here again.

Great location for skiing at Killington. Nice views out the kitchen window! Beautiful view of stars at night from deck. Management prompt to reply to any questions. Delivered us some coffee when we neglected to bring some. Hot tub and sauna a plus.

There were six of us and we really enjoyed the accommodations for this condo. The location, which is just steps away from the Great Eastern trail, was perfect. The hot tub was great after a long day on the slopes. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We skied for a few days and although the trail & lift next to the building was not open, the other lifts are very close for driving. It rained terrible one day so we hiked up the trail. Gorgeous scenery.

The private hot tub and sauna are the perfect combination to ease sore muscles after skiing. The kitchen has everything you need and more. The television and sound system are great. Our family had a fantastic time and always felt safe during this uncertain time.

NO SKI ON AND OFF, misinformation

We chose this rental for a “ski on and ski off “ option. Turns out there was no such an option. We ended up driving 10 min to and from the ski area. Very disappointed. Expecting some form of a refund, waiting to hear from management.

This was a privacy and a wake at the crack of dawn issue.The condo was clean but we noticed some flies both dead and alive which could point to a rodent problem. Kevin and Betsy were great in making a reservation but Elijah was unprofessional and aggressive, texting threatening messages about parking and window ajar status on our Saturday night.

Excellent stay at Killington

This was our second time staying during ski season in the Trailside homes - in #4 this year. We had a superb stay and the condo was perfect for our 5-person family. The location is less than 100 feet from Lower Great Eastern trail, a long and winding and easy trail. Last year the trail was open as there had been a couple of good snowstorms and colder temps in the weeks ahead of our visit- this year, the El Niño warmth wasn’t favorable for snow or snowmaking so Great Eastern wasn’t open yet. No worries though as there’s a prompt shuttle that the management coordinates, or the drive is very quick and easy to either of at least four parking lots. We parked at K1 and Snowshed on two days, but also at Bear Mountain on our final two days - more vintage, but we liked the old school vibe. Unlike at Stowe, where we went a prior year, parking was free and abundant. We loved the hottub, and used it every evening. A couple of us used the sauna too, which heated up quickly and was easy to use. The fireplace is gas - so it doesn’t have the crackling real fireplace aura, but it’s also super-easy and pumps out warmth right away. The TV is gigantic, worked perfectly, and had umpteen channels (seemed like 100s). We ate breakfast and dinner every day in our condo, so we got good use of the kitchen. It’s well stocked with all the pots, pans, plates, utensils, coffee mugs, wine and other glasses, etc that one would want. Salt /pepper too. All in all, a great stay at a super location.
