Always under some type of major repair so noise and construction debris is abundant. Hot water did not work, not enough parking spaces in the lot for the number of rooms. Room itself was pretty gross, it smelled heavily of mildew and smoke and there were many gross spots with boogers etc stuck to the surface. Lots of mold coming through the new paint. Stay away from this hotel!
Horrible hotel disgusting rooms mold covering several walls every fixture is rusty and they were also kind enough to start with a jackhammer at 8 o'clock in the morning right outside of our room. Do not recommend this room to anyone there are much nicer and better taken care of of hotels in the obx
We liked it was right by the beach. We did not like that we had to turn the air conditioner off to be able to sit on the balcony the air conditioner blew hot air right at the chairs they had for you to sit in
Awful hotel condition, owners clearly do not reinvest in the property. Building facade is crumbling, all fixtures are rusted, dated furniture, etc. Save your money and reserve elsewhere.
An affordable option just steps from the beach - would stay here again. Was a bit worried about loud guests the first night, but they eventually passed out and all was good. Breakfast was weak when we were there, but COVID protocols were calling for grab-n-go style food (July 2021).
Yhh
Poor quality and poor service. Pictures are pure deceitful. Motel needs substance internal overhaul. Plus failure to clean / refresh room when requested. For 180.00 a night, what a rip off.
Overall experience was good. Located in a great location. Beach was in sight as you opened the door along with the Wright Brothers Museum was close as well ...
Small dirty beachfront hotel with outside facing doors. Walls as thin as paper. No daily cleaning of room. No breakfast. Roaches in room multiple nights. Floors are hardwood and you can’t get the sand off them. Rooms are no smoking but everyone is standing around the hotel smoking. Asked for a king with a pullout couch. Got a king handicapped and had to have a dirty warm out roll away bed brought in that barely fit the space available. Pool is small but was open. Area to wash feet after coming off beach has about the same amount of sand as the beach. It’s several inches thick. Parking is terrible. Should have paid more and stayed in Buxton.
Beautiful view of thd ocean. Nice staff. Condition of hotel needs work.
Th e place news a lot of work. Had Problems with the room and when i talked to front desk the clerk said this is not the Hilton . The breakfast was good and staff in the kitchen was great .
