Communication was excellent from beginning to end. House was very spacious from bedrooms to kitchen . Plenty of dining space too. Beds were all comfortable. Only the couch needs replacing. The location was great for exploring all aspects of Key West.

The house was absolutely amazing! It exceeded my expectations-pictures don’t do it justice! We wanted the “Key West” vibe/feel and it delivered. The location was great- close to Duval and all the action but quiet. It was easy for people to get around and come and go as they pleased.

Magical Oasis

This place is a perfect Key West getaway! The location is equidistant to both Duval street (2 blocks) and the pier (3 blocks) where many of the boat tours and day excursions depart from. Despite proximity to all of the action, the house and yard are quiet. Landscaped with palm trees throughout the back yard/pool area, you feel like you are miles away from anyone else. The house itself has much of its historical qualities intact, with restored original hardwood floors. Despite its historic charm, the house was incredibly clean with comfortable beds and soft linens (including both bathroom towels and beach towels for the pool). Of note, there is an additional fee to heat the pool/hot tub in the colder months if desired. Communication with the host was easy and prompt. Overall, we had the most lovely, relaxing stay and hope to come back again!!

We enjoyed our stay at Caroline house. Beautiful home. My only issue with the accommodations is the lift sleeping area in the cottage. Not for older people. Kids - yes they would love it. Seniors - not a good fit. The master suite downstairs was lovely. The main house - well equipped.

Perfect home and location

Our family of 9 adults and two 1 year olds stayed for a week for our wedding. The pictures do not do the house justice. It is beautiful and well maintained! Only complaint was the ice maker and water in the refrigerator was not working. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 618 Caroline Street!

Location Location Location

The Caroline Estate was the perfect house for our group of 6 Adults/1 Child. But mostly our stay was the perfect mix of a peaceful quaint neighborhood retreat located just steps from all the action…and not just the nightlife but everything that Key West has to offer. We highly recommend the Caroline Estate.

Girls Weekend!

The house and property are beautiful and well maintained. The pool and hot tub were amazing and great way for us to cool off during the day and in the evening! The house is approx 2 blocks from Duval yet you can not hear all the noise at the house! We were literally walking distance to everything, we only took an uber to and from the airport. The house had everything we needed! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone I know coming to KeyWest

Beautiful space Perfect location Impeccably clean

We spent our familymoon at the Caroline House, and it was perfect. All areas were sparklingly clean. I can not say that enough. My husband and I had the smaller house to ourselves and our family stayed in the bigger house. It was close to all the fun of Duval Street, but we also could retreat to the privacy of the pool area. The pool was remarkably clean. The foliage around the pool beautiful and offered both shade and sun. The kitchen was stocked with anything we would ever need. We also used the outside grill. It was paradise.

Great house!

This was a great house in a great location! We really enjoyed our stay here! I agree with another reviewer that the pictures don't do it justice. It was much bigger and better than I expected. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property.

Location location!

THE GOOD: Excellent location, only two blocks from Duval, harbor etc. and walk to everything! Location was the key for us and we hit it on the nail with this property, Definitely where the action is! Property is great for larger parties and well stocked with plenty of towels, pool towels and well stocked kitchen. Beds are very comfortable, no complaints here. Overall, the house was clean, inviting and comfortable. The pool is a bonus and we used it a few days; it is very shady so keep this in mind when renting. Cutting off a few of the tree limbs would help a lot in allowing more sun areas. IMPROVEMENT: The pool house is great, comfortable and a great addition for large groups, but smells musty and we had to buy air fresheners. Not sure what can be done but was noticeable. Also, the pool house needs a mirror in the main room as there is only one bathroom and it makes it very difficult to get ready when no mirrors anywhere else. Small items, but as they say, details matter. We had a few problems with the air conditioner which was out for four days in two of the rooms, and issues with the TV's(just need to add a sheet of instructions). VHKW was very responsive to all our problems; no complaints there as things always break, need repair etc. They did what needed to be done to help solve our problems. Overall, I recommend this house for location, cleanliness and location; we were a group of 50 year old women, and while the house could use some updates, it served us perfectly for the week we stayed.

Fantastic property
