Check-in process was horrible. We received an email saying that we would need to call to arrange a check-in if we were arriving after 8pm. The number they provided went to a voicemail (during normal hours). I left two messages and never received a call back. I finally found a different phone number for Kees vacations, as they manage multiple locations. Talked to them, explaining we needed to arrange a check-in after 8pm, and they told me I needed to call the same number that no one answered. After a little more back and forth, I was finally given the number of the property manager, who helped us out and left our keys in a Dropbox for when we arrived (thank you!).
Overall the stay was good. The room was clean and better equipped than we were told. The description of the room needs to be updated, we were told there was not any kind of stove burner plate, and in fact there was. Nice bonus. The room is equipped with a ductless heat pump for air conditioning; while functional, it made a constant buzzing noise. Probably could benefit from a service.
The pool and hot tub area was great for relaxing the evening, we enjoyed that. Good location just minutes driving from most places in key west.
