Perfect Key West vacation spot!

This was the perfect place for my family and I to stay for our Key West vacation. The condo itself had everything we needed, access to the pool was great and is in a prime location to walk to so many bars, restaurants, shops and a beach.

Locatin is great and it had 2 bedrooms

The location was very convenient and the listing was correct about having 2 bedrooms so it gets 2 stars for that. While we there the air-conditioner kept us up one night while it was whining as the pump they had on it whined every time it turned on. Turns out that pump was must have been there because of some water issues at some point as 4 ceramic tiles literally popped off the floor one day and cracked. The management company did nothing about it. We laid a bathroom rug over it so it wouldn't cut our feet. The TV and internet never worked the entire week. The management co did nothing about that either. There was not enough toilet paper, no cleaner or enough caulk around the tub. Did you ever rent an apartment from a landlord that just didn't care that much in a good location? Imagine they had q VRBO and you found this place.

Family Vacation

This condo was in the perfect location. Walking distance to everything. Gated community a plus and very quite. The only negatives are the porch should be washed off before arrival, you end up tracking black prints inside the condo. Need to replace the coffee pot with a K-cup and need to list under amenities that you have a washer/dryer. If I had known that I wouldn't of packed so much. Finally, the beds need replacing. They are old and it feels like you are sleeping in a hammock.

Great Vacation

This was our second time staying in Truman Annex but first to stay in the Shipyard area. We hope to be back. Loved the condo and area. Great location near pool.

Great Condo in Shipyard

The condo was clean, well equipped and in a great location. The deck was oversized (for the Shipyard) with an awning that provided protection from the sun. The pool is very close. The only reason I didn't give this condo 5 stars is because although there was a breakfast bar, there was no dining table inside the condo and the mattress in the 2nd bedroom was quite uncomfortable. Otherwise, a great condo!

Loved it!

We loved this condo. Two of our adult children joined us for a couple of days, and we were all quite comfortable, even with only one bath. It was quiet and peaceful. The bed was quite comfortable. The patio in the back was beautiful. I just wish that the patio had a ceiling fan. We were only about 2 blocks off the center of Duval Street. We also discovered that Ft. Zachary Taylor park had a beautiful beach. So pretty! We will definitely come back. The staff at Compass Realty were so friendly and made the check in process so easy. Mike and Cathy M - Jesup GA

Definitely would not choose that condo later

Pros: the condo is very close to the pool and few steps to the parking! Cons: the floors were dirty. My guess is that the cleaning lady just swept to the corners. Plus my 1 y.o. found pieces of glass near the fridge and I found a hair on a pillow in the bedroom. The bathtub was sticky. There was Comet, but no brush for cleaning. The bathroom is very small and the toilet is tiny! The next door neighbors is a nice retired couple, and they spent much time on the deck, so we could hear their conversations. Not a problem as we most of the day we spent outside. The walls are thin and we could hear the snoring of our neighbors. Pool is closed after 8 pm. 2 days before our stay the manager called my husband and asked to come earlier as she had to go somewhere. We told that we can not be at the office before 3 pm. We arrived from the Fort Lauderdale airport at 3:30 pm to pick up keys and the manager told us she was waiting for us the whole day! Overall our stay in Key West was great! P.s.: there is a new splash park with a play ground!

What a great get away. Close to Duval Street restaurants and shopping, but quiet peaceful poolside location. Clean new spacious 2 bedroom. I plan to return again and again.
