The Europe Hotel & Resort5.0 out of 5.0

The Europe has definitely been the top of my list for a long time and I was beyond excited to be down there for a relaxing weekend - my ideal weekend involved relaxing in the spa, eating beautiful food and enjoying a few drinks and this is exactly what we did in the Europe. To be honest as much as I love Killarney and how beautiful the town is I didn't want to leave the hotel as there was so much to do there and we had some of the nicest food there. On arrival we were greeted and told we had been upgraded which was such a great and pleasant surprise - we were not prepared to be upgraded to the outstanding suite we were in, the views of the lake and even the hotel itself were spectacular. To be honest we are now completely ruined and will struggle to stay in any other room/hotel for fear it won't live up to our experience in the Europe. We have previously stayed in 5-star hotels throughout Ireland, some in Europe and the most beautiful picturesque ones in Thailand and we both agreed that the Europe topped the list. All staff were friendly, approachable and willing to do anything you asked and the food in the Panorama restaurant was divine. While the Europe is expensive I believe you cannot put a price on the high quality and service we received while staying there, I already want to book another stay.
One the best hotels in Ireland. This location provides the ideal base to explore cork and Kerry as well as indulge in the wonderful facilities. The active level is a real treat with a salt water pool and very large steam room sauna and Jacuzzi.
Fabulous Resort. Beautiful views, great food, great service, excellent rooms and the best spa facilities I have ever seen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and will be back to stay the next time we are in Ireland.
One of our best hotel experiences - excellence all round, topped off by the wonderful views of Killarney Lakes. Everything is of a very high quality - service, rooms - cannot recommend it highly enough
We were delighted by the hotel and the staff during our visit a few weeks ago. I booked 3 rooms for the family and each was wonderful. The hotel has a peaceful, spa-like feel that we all enjoyed. The view of the lake and mountains from our room was postcard worthy. I would definitely return. The beds were quite comfortable, the library was a peaceful retreat for a read, the lobby was a great spot if dining alone for breakfast, etc.
View from the balcony in the bedroom is a wow factor, the pool ,sauna and relaxation area are perfect to chill out, outside infinity pool was devine, The Bars are another lovely place to relax and un wind, I checked out feeling brand new....
Bedroom assigned was disappointing - supposed to be Golf View, but it was so low down it was darkish, and we couldn't see the golf course - and the room was small. After complaining, we were moved to a much better room. A friend who booked a room for herself was also disappointed - are small rooms assigned to women who might not complain? Couldn't book a table for 9 for a family celebration in advance, but on the night there was no problem with getting a table. Enjoyed lovely pool with beautiful lakeside view and outside pool. Breakfast was excellent. Food in bistro was excellent - eg slow cooked port, fish; but the lamb was overcooked and dry. Children's food very good. In the restaurant on another night, the food was excellent, but I couldn't help noticing that the delicious chocolate dessert was served on a big glass plate that was chipped. Staff were friendly and helpful. Don't book a taxi to town or the station from the reception - book it yourself with a local company. Much more reasonably priced.
Amazing hotel; from the views, to the cleanliness, the swimming pool (absolutely stunning), the room, bed, etc, etc. Very helpful and friendly staff. It was a wonderful experience I will repeat. 100% recommended
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights recently and enjoyed our stay very much. Had heard so much about The Europe and we were not disappointed. The rooms are fabulous but can get very warm at night. We would recommend a Lake View room as the view is fantastic. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.
Everything about The Europe was fantastic, the staff, the gym, the views, the grounds, the facilities, the food, everything. My wife and I were made to feel like VIP's by incredibly friendly, professional and unpretentious staff.
