Booked four rooms for eight girls and we just loved the whole experience. It was comfortable, clean and has great staff. The spa area is beautiful. The hotel grounds have lovely walks with superb views. Will definitely return.
Stayed here for one night in September, and will definitely be back. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It is worth every penny. The room, the hotel, the staff and the food were fantastic. It all creates a wonderful experience. We had a Lakeview Room, which I would highly recommend. Very spacious and luxurious. The pool and spa facilities are second to none. I could go on all day complimenting the hotel. The only constructive criticism I could give is the room is missing a box of tissues. And at breakfast people seemed confused by the self service system and ordering system. But neither of these impacted the experience.
The Europe is the perfect destination for rest and relaxation, the leisure facilities are exceptional,it was fantastic to wake up and look out onto the lake, breathtaking.Throughout our stay all of the staff were friendly, welcoming and wanted to attend yo our every need.
Superb hotel, friendly and efficient staff and location is unmatchable. We had a surprise dinner for my wife and the restaurant staff did a great job of making sure it was a surprise. Well worth a visit
My sister and I treated my mum to a birthday weekend stay with dinner and spa treatment. We received a complimentary upgrade to the delight of my mum and ourselves and the room had spectacular views of the mountain and lake and was very large. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and considerate and we were made feel very special during our stay. The dinner was lovely and there was a good choice to pick from. Breakfast was also good but not great. I am unsure when 5* Hotels ceased carrying out table service, but it really does take from the experience when you have to go and queue and take many trips up and down the restaurant for your breakfast items. Although there was a good choice nothing really wowed us. We did have a beautiful table overlooking the great landscape. Their spa is incredible and if you have a treatment you gain private access to a quieter outdoor spa pool as well as a private sauna and steam room with a choice of teas. My only negative here is that all three of us asked for deep massages but the masseur kept it very light which was disappointing as we asked a few times during the massage for firmer pressure. Despite this we spent about 4 hours lazing in the spa area and it was just amazing. The following day we had lunch in the restaurant just off the reception area and we were left very disappointed. We ordered beef cheek, nachos and pate and neither of us enjoyed our choices. Our waiter was also a bit 'smart' with some of his responses which we felt was somewhat unprofessional for the setting we were in. Overall a fantastic hotel just in need of a few tweaks to make it excellent.
Whenever I arrive at the Europe & check into Reception I immediately feel at home & relax. The atmosphere is quiet & restful. Although the house maybe full you feel as if everyone has time for you. This time we had a couple with us who had never been before & she described the activity spa as been out of this world. I describe the hotel as my happy place.
Just back from a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything from the room to the food and all facilities at the hotel have definitely earned their 5 star rating. There was live music entertainment in the lounge on the Saturday night which was a nice surprise. The spa experience for me was not good value for money as the treatment was quite disappointing. A small downside to an otherwise great stay.
The Europe is somewhere you go to relax and enjoy yourself. Beautiful scenery, helpful staff and great food. There is no need to leave the hotel. If going as a couple or group of adults I would avoid staying here in periods such as school mid term breaks as the relaxed experience can be marred by large numbers of families staying there.
From A to Z, - just fantastic. That includes the deer, which is passing by your breakfast room in the morning, the brilliant staff in the morning, a breakfast you´ve never enjoyed at a hotel before, the excellent meals throughout the day, the marvellous landscape and the evening drinks at the bar. The SPA is a class on it´s own and the infinity pool (go in the morning when it is empty, - around sun-rise) you´ll never forget. Thanks also to the gardener´s team and all the helping hands one doesn´t see at all. Captain DPF
Had the most enjoyable stay here from start to finish. From the lovely welcome from Padraig , to the lovely staff at front of house. Was delighted to get to our room at 12/30 and then had beautiful lunch. The bread was unreal, so much so I asked for recipe and was given by Kevin in a flash. We then headed out for lovely walk in the national park. So lovely to see herds of deer and little squirells and been at one with nature. We then headed back to the hotel for the most amazing pool and spa.Marie at the spa was so lovely.Have to mention the slow roasted pork at dinner was mouth watering and the service top notch.Breakfast in the Europe has to be on every one wish list. The best ever, from freshly squeezed juices, to fresh fruit and so much to choose from. The hot food cooked to order was amazing.Over all have to say from the decor, lovely earthy and warm feel every where,, but the best thing is the staff, so so lovely, Padraig , Kevin, Marie and the lovely Italian Breakfast manager, thank you all so much, Highly recommend.
