Cabaña con techo de paja en el condado de Kerry con bañera de hidromasaje, jacuzzi y wifi

Cottage Mary Rose es una hermosa casa de campo del siglo XVIII, encalada, con techo de paja. Uno de los pocos que quedan en Irlanda, es con lo que sueñas cuando piensas en Irlanda. Ubicado en el valle pastoral del Monte Eagle con un arroyo que atraviesa el tranquilo jardín de la cabaña. Contamos con un jardín totalmente natural. Está rodeado por sus paredes de piedra seca y fucsia originales.

Te da la bienvenida la brillante puerta doble roja. Al entrar, tiene la sensación de haber retrocedido en el tiempo. Con su chimenea de piedra y techos altos en la sala de estar, es una gran sala para la conversación y los juegos. Las antigüedades llenan la cabaña con muebles tradicionales y cómodos también. Es sorprendente pensar en lo que ha sobrevivido esta cabaña. Realmente ha recorrido un largo camino desde la vida tradicional irlandesa hasta tener los lujos con los que soñamos. Hay una bañera de hidromasaje y lavaplatos, así como una estufa Aga roja brillante para que pueda disfrutar de la cocina. Realmente un lugar ideal para llamar hogar mientras explora los numerosos tesoros del condado de Kerry. Tenemos WiFi y televisión por cable con muchos canales.

A beautifully snug little cottage in Castleisland Had everything we needed and didnt want for anything. Quite literally down the road from Hughes Bar for a pint by the fire. It was a good location for day tripping to Dingle and Killarney with a host of other villages to visit like NewCastle West and Adare.

The cottage is lovely, and modern equipped. The jacuzzi is really great. The garden is beautiful. And from there we made day trips to the Kerry way and Limerick. Nearby is a church and a pub. We have had a good stay and the housekeepers were very helpful.

We had a wonderful time at Cottage Mary Rose. The area was beautiful, Hughes’s bar was awesome! Caretaker Timmy went above and beyond. Caroline answered all our questions. Highly recommend!!

Difficult to find, don’t trust the GPS, go to Hughes Bar, it’s just a bit down the road from there. Once there it is the most beautiful, magical place I have ever been. The grounds are wonderful, with a babbling brook in the back, behind the deck. Caroline and Timmy were most helpful getting us to the cottage and settled in. I can’t say enough good things, it is truly a once in a lifetime experience.

Great stay in the irish countryside!

Quaint old fashioned rustic irish cottage just 30 min drive from killarney. Beautiful grounds, deck, hot tub. Area is scenic and quiet. Cottage had all necessary amenities. Easy communication with owner as well.

The cottage is lovely and everything we hoped for when booking a thatched roof cottage. We enjoyed listening to the stream that runs through the backyard and how cozy and homey the cottage felt. The only negative about our stay was that it was too short.

Great location and amazing property!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cottage was centrally located to many towns and attractions with a very cozy atmosphere. We loved the hot tub, stream, and beautiful gardens. The local pub was also a great highlight!

Beautifully Restored Cottage

This cottage has been restored to bring a vintage Irish home alive, and updated with modern day conveniences. It is beautifully decorated, and supplied with everything a weary traveler could need. We found it neat and tidy, and very well maintained. It is located far enough away from the noise and traffic of the city, yet an easy drive to get you there.

Great stay in an adorable cottage!

Our stay here was wonderful. This cottage has been around for a long time and we appreciated staying in a little piece of history. The cottage felt like our home away from home. We loved the huge deck in the back as well as the hot tub! Great communication with property managers & hosts.

The loveliest character cottage

Cannot say enough good things about this little cottage. It’s excellently located to all the best attractions in Kerry, and it’s perfectly situated in the country but close enough to Castleisland to make getting groceries and going to the local pub easy. The caretaker, Timmy, built a fire for us twice and a local man gave my Dad an autographed book of his own poetry. Absolutely perfect accommodation for a family trip.

Excellent stay

This cottage was the perfect introduction to Ireland and such a unique stay. There aren’t many thatch roof cottages anymore and especially rare to be along side a river with a hot tub and beautiful garden. It was a dream to stay at and the contacts were really easy to work with given our flight changes. Would absolutely recommend.

If you want a traditional Irish cottage, this is perfect. Not new and modern, but charming and cozy. Country setting, but near town.

A week spent with family

We had an absolutely lovely time at the cottage. We spent a week with family touring around County Kerry and enjoyed every minute of it. Everything was perfect.

Fantastic Property

We really loved the property it felt like returning home and it was so comfortable. Very unique experience. Very quiet and peaceful. The Fireplace was great and Timmy was great to chat with.

Cutest little Irish Cottage WITH HOT TUB

This was exactly what we were looking for and more! The cutest little cottage, which was actually very spacious and comfortable, had so much character, but also had modern amenities including the most delightful hot tub. Great shower also. Loved our stay. Would add that the wifi only reached to the kitchen, so wouldn't be ideal for someone who needed to really work, but for holiday it was great!
