The place was very cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect for enjoying and exploring the beautiful surroundings. The hot tub was great after hiking around the area. The hosts were easy to talk to and very responsive and helpful. All in all it was a great get away!

My family loved our short stay at the Gunks Cottage. The place is clean, welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed all it had to offer from the patio seating, grill, hot tub and pool. Highly recommend hiking the Gertrude's Nose and Millbrook Mountain trails in beautiful Minnewaska State Park and having dinner at Rough Cut Brewing Co.

A Romantic Getaway

We rented this place for a 4-day mid-week getaway to celebrate our anniversary. This was a perfect location that was near quaint little towns with farm to table restaurants, and a state park for hiking. We also loved that we were able to soak in the hot tub on a cool night afterwards, and warm up by the fireplace with a cup of tea. We really enjoyed our stay and have already recommended this place to our friends. Thank you!

Lovely relaxing stay!

Kyle and Jasmine’s property was the perfect little get away; everything we needed was provided, the hot tub was a hit, and the couch was soooo comfy (very important). Had the weather cooperated we also would have loved to use the fire pit and deck area! The house was right down the street from Rough Cut brewing co which had great food and drinks too. My sisters and I have nothing but good things to say about the experience!

Cute house

Small cottage but has everything you need. Beautiful yard. Wish weather was better to enjoy it more. Road noise a little loud but not a deal breaker. Would recommend staying here.

Cutie Cottage

This house is totally adorable and the backyard allowed for plentiful outdoor space too. Very close to great hiking. Highly recommend a trip to Anawaska Falls. Be sure to grab dinner at Gaby’s in Ellenville also.

Lovely and romantic getaway in the Gunks

My husband and I stayed here for a little getaway mid week and this house was perfect! The house had two comfortable bedrooms, a cozy living and kitchen area that were fully equipped including Netflix, Prime Video etc. and strong wifi. The hot tub and backyard were icing on the cake. Kyle was super friendly and responsive. Would highly recommend and can't wait to visit again!

Very Happy Minnewaska

We had a great time at Happy Minnewaska! Enjoyed hanging out in the living room with the gas fireplace. Kitchen served us well, including the well-stocked spice cabinet and spacious dining area. Fantastic hot tub.

Another great stay

We love Kyle and Jasmine's place and were happy to return for some fall climbing. The house is super convenient to the Trapps and Peterskill and the hot tub is great to relax after a long day on the rocks. I'm sure we will return!

Very happy at Happy Minnewaska

Really enjoyed our stay here. House was very nice with some great features like the pool, hot tub and fire pit. Great location if you're going to Minnewaska State Park and/or Mohonk, both only a few minutes away. Some good breweries nearby as well. Owners were also very good with communication and providing info on the house and the area. Would stay again!

Super Happy with "Happy Minnewaska"

If you're going to Minnewaska or Mohonk, look no further. My husband and our two closest friends stayed here over the weekend, and wow. What a great place to come back to and unwind after a long day of hiking. The hot tub, pool, fire pit, and whole outdoor space was incredible. The home was super clean and well stocked with everything we could possibly need. And the beds were really comfy. Plus, it was close to the park and restaurants like Rough Cut brewery. We loved it. Thank you, Kyle & Jasmine for a perfect getaway.

Perfect house

We had a fantastic time staying here. We came to climb in the Gunks and the house was super close and then a great way to unwind after with some time in the pool and hot tub. We are looking forward to returning at a later date.

Spring Break Girls Trip

My best friend and 14 year old daughter had the best time. Even though the weather was chilly we did a lot of hiking, saw the waterfalls, and did some shopping. My teenage daughter had a blast looking through the old records and antiques. We found a place for her to make a candle and just had the best time. The hot tub was a great addition to our trip as well. Overall would recommend it to anyone looking for a small place to relax and recharge in nature.
