Very Disappointing Stay – Standards Have Really Dropped
We’ve stayed at this hotel several times, but this visit was extremely disappointing. From the start, our rooms were mixed up. The second room had a bed in two halves, leaving a gap that the mattress sank into, and the pillows were thin, grubby, and uncomfortable. When we returned to the room at 3pm, it still hadn’t been cleaned.
The lady who checked us in seemed uninterested and barely provided any information unless we asked directly. To make things worse, on our second night the fire alarm went off intermittently until after 4am. No communication or updates were given to guests at any point. When we mentioned it to the manager in the morning, he was flippant and dismissive—apparently because he’d been called in at 3am. Unfortunately, we were the ones who paid for a completely disrupted night’s sleep.
Breakfast service was poor as well. We waited 40 minutes just for coffee and had to get our own juice. Overall, the hotel has become grubby, the service has declined, and our experience was far below the standard we previously enjoyed.
Sadly, I would no longer recommend staying here.
