When we arrived around 3:30 AM, a homeless man was loitering around the entrance. The front desk lobby clerk shoo’d him away but it set a standard I was not ready for. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a cold and short greeting followed by silence through the entirety of check in. I wouldn’t say rude, just not a friendly front desk clerk. The hotel itself had a couch we found food wrappers in. It was late and we had a long day later so no use complaining. The carpets were also very crumby as if someone had just been eating in there. Not my cup of tea for the stay.

Do not book this hotel.
I’m not a picky person but after traveling for hours, I just want a clean, safe, and comfortable room to stay in. We reserved a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. When we pulled the sofa bed out, it was full of crumbs. The sofa itself had what looked like toothpaste stains. I asked for a different room. The sheet for the sofa bed mattress in the 2nd room had what looked like ketchup stain. They didn’t have any more open room. There were no apologies given by the front desk clerk. The building is old. The gym was tiny. It only had 3 machines. The area was questionable. I ended up booking at another hotel. I lost 1 night’s payment. I would not recommend this place as it is a dump! I will never book any Red Lion hotels again!

This hotel is right on a busy street, and feels run-down. The exercise room doesn’t have weights because we were told they are always getting stolen. We stayed here because it was one of the few hotels available during a busy weekend of sorting events in the area…..we probably wouldn’t stay again.

Nice room, with an added bonus large kitchen area, featuring sink, microwave oven, refrigerator and coffee pot. Adjacent to the kitchen area, there is a couch, table and chairs dining, or relaxing and conversating with your company.

The room was surprisingly very large with a kitchenette in it. Almost a mini-apartment setting. Both my husband and I were able to take showers and both of us had great water pressure and hot water. I did have to move the coffee maker into the kitchenette as it wasn't plugged in and I couldn't move the dresser to plug it in.
