We had a great stay at 1740. It's a very homely and cosy hotel (good for the cold weather!). The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed talking to the woman on the front desk. Our only suggestion would be to reduce the size of the breakfast. The food was good, but we were only able to eat about a quarter of it.

What a great hotel. Lovely rooms, beautiful views, and very welcoming and helpful service. I really liked the curation of the food and beverage options which were also great quality. We had a great stay and highly recommend it!

I stayed 3 nights at the hotel and loved the atmosphere and the design. We had an amazing suite facing the Kazbegi mountain and the church. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view is to die for. I wish there was a sun blocking curtain on the large window to avoid waking up at sunrise.
