Loki’s Loft and Cellar
We welcome you to Loki’s Loft and Cellar, set in the Historic 1896 Building in beautiful Kaslo, British Columbia. Built in the year 1896 from bricks made in Kaslo, this nearly 130 year old building has been fully modernized and updated to provide a vacation home experience like no other.
The 1896 Building is a historic mixed-use Kaslo heritage building built in the year 1896 featuring 3 private and modern short term rentals and a coffee/ice cream shop .
Loki’s Loft and Cellar is a completely unique space and is the premier place to stay in Kaslo. Entering from Front St, the street level features a half bath and leads down to the epic cellar. The 600 sq ft cellar has a large couch, TV, card table and chairs and heated floors. As you walk upstairs to the top level, you enter the open living space with a full kitchen, dining table, and living room. Enjoy the spectacular views of the historic SS Moyie, Kootenay Lake and the Purcell mountain range with an uninterrupted look of Mt Loki.

For the winter, Kaslo is in the heart of epic cat skiing and heli skiing. Check the Guide for links to the local companies.
The adventurist will find no lack of activities in the summer between boating, rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, etc.
You can also make Kaslo your home base for dirt bike riding, adventure riding and cruising. The Kootenays are a motorcyclist paradise.

Exceptional VRBO
This place is beautifully appointed with a fantastic location. We stayed with family and it was even better than we expected. Beds were comfortable, it was clean and we had everything we needed. Maggie was wonderful and very responsive to all our questions. We look forward to our next visit!
