This property is NOT safe. It was a convenient location, spacious, beautiful shower and bathroom but not safe by any means. All the codes, gate remotes, and key fobs are there to give you a false sense of security. My car was broken into in broad daylight! I immediately called the police and I contacted Kasa. I wasn't offered anything for the disturbance that happened on their property. All of my bank cards, money, and electronics were stolen and the property could really care less. The police came and did a report but that doesn't bring back any personal items or my piece of mind. I still had 1 night left after the break in. The company offered NOTHING. The rest of my time there was scary as I felt like I had to check on my car every 20 minutes. I got no sleep that night. Don't let the reviews fool you.. they will break into your car if you come here.

Beautiful location, Tons of local shops and restaurants within a short walk 0 5-1 mile away. Easy access to the Charlotte transit as well. Room was immaculate and comfortable.

The property was very clean and tidy. The location was ideal, next to a train station. Earplugs were provided for noise, although I did not need them. The pool area was clean. It’s an easy location to get transportation in and out of. The parking garage is not complementary, and if you request a late check out, there is a $25 charge. There’s quite a bit of construction going on around the property, so parking is extremely limited, and parking in the garage is the best option at this point in time. Just be prepared to pay for it. The area is walkable in the sense that there’s a coffee shop and a sandwich shop nearby. The coffee shop is very expensive, so you may want to venture a bit further out for some more affordable breakfast.

The stay here was excellent. It was clean and stocked with the essentials. My room was by a construction site but thats something you cant help Communication was great and any questions i had was answered timely, room very clean, parking was fine, quiet overall. Would stay again.

Better than a hotel!!!

Our family recently visited our oldest daughter for her birthday and decided to stay at Kasa at Cortland NoDa Charlotte for a long weekend. The apartment was beautiful, modern, spacious, clean and well appointed with luxurious bedding bath and pool towels. Great location within walking distance to breweries, coffee shops and Optimist Hall which features shops and restaurants in an indoor/outdoor food court setting. Kasa at Cortland NoDa Charlotte sent Prearrival checklists and detailed instructions for check in and check out by email and text. Early check in was requested and granted to our party although a follow up call for an update was required. Absolutely loved our stay and would recommend to others visiting the NoDa Charlotte area. We will be back!!

Difficult to find the fitness center and communication to assist was not good. Ended up bothering a resident as we accidentally attempted to access his apartment but he was understanding and helped us locate it. Other than that we were very pleased

I had to contact the company for check-in details when I arrived. I was in a hurry to get in by 4pm (check-in time) as I had plans to get ready for. When I contacted them, they responded quickly, but did not share why the check-in instructions were not already available, which was stressful -- especially after a long drive and while knowing I had limited time to get ready for my plans. Ultimately, I received check-in details only 10 minutes after check-in time; however, I received no explanation of what was going on. Given their reputation for inflexibility with their rules (based on other reviews), I find this unacceptable. All that said, besides check-in, my stay was lovely. The property is clean, the gym was better furnished than I expected and street parking was available so I was glad I didn't pay for parking in advance (or otherwise -- although, this reminds me to double check my final statement).

Totally fine but underwhelming

Totally practical choice in a good location, but it lacks personality and is a maze of hallways to get to the room. It was fine, but if you're looking for something with more character, look elsewhere.
