We got an awesome deal on the price and Margarita gave us a large apartment. Windows open all night for a lovely breeze, all amenities needed inside and exceptionally clean. Owners were very helpful with everything needed (car rental, iron etc) and the location was very central without too big a hill to climb up.
Friendly hotel, Margarita and Yiannis both excellent hosts, a nice welcome.. Large room with sea view. A little steep for oldies or infirm but well worth the climb. Would stay here again if I return to Karpathos..
Large 2 room apartment with balcony and sea view, basic kitchen and separate bathroom. Pickup from airport arranged for us. great location close to harbour for ferry, restaurants etc. beach short walk away which was deserted when we visited in April.
The room was very clean and there was also a welcome pack with some home made sweets by Mrs Margarita. During our stay Mr Yianis Karageorgiadis was very kind to inform us about restaurants and place to visit on the Island.
The hotel is up a short steep hill but not too much effort to walk up. We were met at the port and taken to the hotel. The room was a good size with comfortable beds and a small but old kitchenette. The wifi in the room was fine. There was no view as we overlooked the back of the hotel. The location is very good being a 3 minute walk to the main restaurant, bar and shops area. The price we paid was very good value.
Amarylis Hotel is well situated - although up a steep hill it is still an easy walk to tavernas, shops, harbour and a little bit further, the bus station. Our room was very spacious with a kitchenette and decent sized balcony. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable - pity about the hard and lumpy pillows. The kitchenette was very basically equipped and had no matching glasses. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. The only complaint we had was that we felt badgered to hire a car from time of booking and even after arrival when we said we wanted to settled down first and get our bearings before deciding. Eventually a flat out "No thank you" got us some peace.
We chose to stay at Amarylis largely based on reviews found on Trip Advisor and we are so glad we did! Large room, spotlessly clean, we had a sea view with balcony. Quiet peaceful location. Free wi fi with great connection. Margarita is a charming hostess who spoiled us daily with home made sweets and her sons Yiannis and Kostas could not be more helpful, arranging our car rental and providing helpful advice. We truly felt at home and would totally recommended this property. It is located on a somewhat steep hill, but far from difficult, and it is noteworthy that Pigadia is built on a hill, so the better views are further up from the port! Excellent value and so happy we chose to stay here for 4 nights in mid April!
Stayed many times over the years. Big rooms with great facilities and absolutely spotless. Some apartments for family. Lovely family and go out of there way to help and advise you. Would highly recommend.
I intended to stay only 10 nights and ended up staying 3 weeks in this lovely quaint hotel. The room was very spacious with a large balcony and wonderful views of the sea. Rooms are cleaned daily and are kept spotless. Wifi in my room was excellent. Margarita the owner was a delight. Always friendly, helpful and would go out of her way for all her guests. She loved spoiling them with her homemade sweets. This Hotel is in a fantastic location. Only a couple of minutes walk to town, bus stop and port, yet away enough from any any noise. Great value for money!! I would definitely stay here again.
We staid there for three weeks and can not com plane for anything. It was very clean and the hole family, which are the owners were very polite and even john offered us to take us to olimpos for a day trip for free. Thank you john.
