Clean linens and towels. Very ill kept property. Everything needed a deep clean. Workmanship was terrible. Pool was very dirty and water looked unsafe to swim in. Shower was broken and shower floor and bathroom was full of mold. STAY AWAY! I have pictures if you’d like to see them.

The room was spacious, clean, modern and with a balcony. I could sit out on the balcony for hours just admiring the view. The staff was very nice and the owner very hospitable. Upon arrival I hadn't eaten and I was offered a complimentary breakfast free of charge. I was also offered a free breakfast upon departure. The owner even sat with me as we chatted away the morning. I would without hesitation rent here again and will recommend it to friends and family. Cheers 😁

A great hotel, was clean, great view from the balcony. Very friendly staff. Quiet at night, easy 2 minutes walk to supermarket and restaurants and bars, about 15 minutes walk to the beach. Would happily stay again.

We stayed there for 5 nights. We had 2 rooms booked. The first room the air con did not work as we had to sweat whole night .. Made a complain but they didn't do anything on that day. The other room had the same issue as the air con didn't work and was told that it cannot be fixed. The WiFi works when it feels like .. The phone in all the rooms doesn't work so if you want to make a complain about something you have to walk down to the reception who was not friendly at all. Half the time they do not understand what I was saying ...

Close to places to see and do

I come here in May every year for 2 nights as it it provides a room to the very Patong to visith the very large shopping center Jungceylon where you can find Robinsons a Mega Department store and BigC and very large Supermarket. There are also 1000 thands of smaller retailers in there to browse. I caan spend 3 hours in there easily without getting bored. One can also walk and shop outside on the main streets of Patong for bargains...., do not be afraid to bargain and walk away as they ask for too much. Usually they won't let you off, so start with a ridiculously low offer, if they let you walk, then you are too low, you do not loose face, if you now offer 20 Baht more. Be careful, a real genuine Ray Ban is not really the case and the asking price of 5500 Baht is inflated by 1000%. Comparing anything to Australian or European prices and you pay far too much. Back to Lae Lay, the facilities there like the shower head, towel rail , toilette paper holder have turned rusty and the shower is not the best. It works, sort off, the room is spacious and the pool just outside. There is a problem with guests from another part of the Hotel 'nesting themselves' in the pool area which should be reserved for guests with access to the pool area. They can be very noisy and stay til late at knight. Hotel Squatters come to mind. For a short term stay OK, longer term...., may be not.

Nice hotel, lovely surroundings, quiet location.

Second time of staying at this hotel, would definitely recommend it. Lovely pool side room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room cleaned everyday, clean towels every day. Breakfast included in price, very nice food.

Amazing experience!

My experienced is pretty amazing!It was my first time to travel in Phuket and they gave me a very wonderful welcome.The service is nice,from the information staffs until I got to their restaurant.Room is very nice and clean!They make me feel like I belong specially the customer service.Staffs are very nice especially the owner.We had a very nice conversation at the overview terrace.Everything is provided!They really take good care of their customers!

Upon arriving the Hotel in general was clearly in need of a good clean. The room also was quite dirty with built up grime on everything you touch. This is very unfortunate as the hotel is quite new, the rooms are large and well designed. I contacted management on day 1 re my concerns, however they just apologised for my inconvenience, and no other action was taken. This Hotel would have received 4 stars if they took pride in there premises.

Very dirty on my visit

This is a fairly new and nice hotel, except for the obvious lack of cleaning. I sent an email to management on the 1st day hoping they would attend to the rubbish and mess around the pool area, and the unclean state of our room, but they didn't. The grime on everything was very visible, even the sliding door to our room had a thick layer of grime on it. We scrubbed it clean ourselves to make sure it came off and it did. Breakfast for us was inedible as it was covered in 100s of wasps. They were in the jam, yoghurts, and salads. I booked this hotel based on the good reviews, but something must have changed in the past few months. I would not recommend this hotel. There are plenty of clean hotels around at a similar price.
