We had stayed here 2 years ago for St Patrick weekend for $80 a night. This year TripAdvisor price listed was $85. When I booked they would not honor this price but did come down from $109. To $90. Has mentioned in another review the screens on the window were broken. Not dirty but not real clean, when we got to our room there were dirty cups (not ours) on the night table. The shades in the breakfast room have a good layer of dust on them. The breakfast was fairly good. My husband said biscuits were hard tack. Front desk staff were very friendly.
This place has paint fresh paint on an old falling apart motel. There is nothing quality about this place. Screens are broken on ground level floors and the doosr on the rooms are cheap and unsafe. DO NOT STAY HERE
Close location for Park-Sleep-Fly but this motel lacks enough customer service. Front desk staff was good, shuttle driver (Rick) was fantastic but communication between ownership/management and staff lacks tremendously. This motel is convenient and clean with a decent, early continental breakfast but not sure I will go back again. Mis-communication took us about 90 minutes from arrival at the airport to arrival at our car
I am staying here because I have a very early flight and it is close to the airport. The first room I was assigned had a black mark on the bed spread and some kind of stain on the pillow. The woman and the front desk was nice about it and moved me to a different room. The new room is okay but the smell in the room and main lobby is terrible. The room smells musty and the lobby smells a bit like a nursing home. I will be sleeping with the window open as the smell is very unsettling. In the newly reassigned room, I found a hole in my sheet and found yet another black smudge on the pillow. The first towel I unfolded had hair on it and stains. I don't expect five stars but do expect clean and good repair. Very disappointed.
I chose this hotel because I was traveling with my dog. I was charged $15 for the dog. I was put in a first floor room near the door. The room was clean. Breakfast was ok. I would return if in the area.
We booked our room because when I called they told me they were providing a shuttle service to Weston Irish Fest. They stated that if I booked another hotel in the area we would have to pay for the shuttle. So I believed them and paid ridiculous rate for one room 210.00 for not much of a room. When I inquired at the desk they said no way that we would have to pay 60.00 more for the shuttle! They lied to me! My son had flown in from Texas for the weekend festival and his birthday. What a joke! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone nor will we ever book there again when we go back.
Undergoing renovations but still has a way to go. Needs another elevator or a bigger one would be an improvement. Room was adequate with plenty of storage. Bathroom was subpar. Breakfast was ok. My cereal tasted stale as did the biscuits and we ate at 6:30 shortly after the breakfast area opened. I'm sure the renovations will improve the the looks and would consider trying it again if I am in the area.
We did the stay &park while going to New York City. We decided to try a new venue this time. We are pleased to report that it was an excellent choice! Our room was great size, very well furnished, refrig & micro, very clean, excellent king size bed,on the first floor, coffee maker and a lot of choices for breakfast, then a comfortable ride to and from the airport! It was a few dollars more than where we usually stay but well worth it! There is a wall of pictures recognizing the military which was impressive! The only negative was the ck in which was not the best but didn't take away the first time staying here. We will be recommending this to our friends and family! We will be returning on our next trip!
After a full day of sightseeing in St Louis and the long drive to Platte City we were bushed. We were greeted warmly and got to our room for a good night's rest. Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was very good. We had planned to go on a volkswalk, but the on and off thunderstorms precluded that. We headed to Council Bluffs earlier than planned.
Clearly an older but renovated hotel. Rooms were nice and clean, comfy bed. Some areas still looked old but not bad. Breakfast was fine, not great. Convenient to the highway, airport, and north KC. And it was really inexpensive. Not great, but for the price we'd stay again.
