I would not let a stray dog stay in this hotel. The staff is very disrespectful and have this " I don't care attitude". I don't even want to waste my time rating them. They are not even worth my time.

Room was clean but had blue paint on walls and very inadequate lighting-a gloomy cavern at night. Please paint walls white and install adequate room lighting.

The most disrespectful staff and wouldn't give us our money back.

It was ok for a short, one night stay. It was outdated and nothing special.

When I booked this hotel I thought Microtels are usually good. Not this one though. Bad!

I have always maintained this motel is good value (if paying personally and not through business) for going in and out of Kansas City. The shuttle to and from the airport is great. They are not very flexible with checking in early, as I would expect an airport motel to be (especially with people coming from outlying town and contending with snow and ice driving to get there). The lighting above the beds is fantastic! Some rooms have been neglected - and I mean for basic things like water in the sink, a sink plug missing, general wear and tear. However, the bedding is always clean, even if the corners of the carpet are not.

Cons: Badly maintained premise. Room and towels were dirty. Breakfast tables were always dirty. Except yogurt and fruits nothing good to eat in breakfast. Pros: Location to the airport (I was told there is free shuttle as well if you are willing to wait 10-20min). Water pressure in the shower is good. Pillows and bed were okay.

The smoke alarm had gone off when we first arrived but stopped until 4:00 am. Didn't have a very restful night sleep.

Hotel is extremely dated, Carpeting in room was filthy, It is a non smoking hotel. "I am a smoker, I do not smoke in my home or my car." When I walked into my room it literally stank of cigarettes from when it was a smoking hotel.My friends room smelled the same.Being a smoker , you would think I would be oblivious to the smell , So that should tell you something! Counter at front desk paint peeling and walls need repainting.Elevator floor filthy with peel and stick tile If you arrive early before a 3:30 check in time they charge you an additional $25.00 for early check in. This hotel is near the airport and surrounded by 5 other hotels right next to the Convention center.They could easily triple their business if they would clean this place up.Unfortunately everything else was booked , so this was my last resort to stay close to the convention center for a show that was going on.Would never stay again....... I also might need to go get fumigated from the room carpeting..

I told the gentleman about the dirty room and showed him the photos. He said he wasn't the manager so I told him to tell his cleaning staff to clean the rooms.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Dirty rooms, dirty common area, lazy staff. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

Staff was not friendly, rooms were old and dirty, shuttle was help together by duct tape in places. It just was not a place I'd ever stay again.

Great staff, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and great location.

The hotel room was clean, but the water was turned off when I need to shower the next morning and the hotel worker could tell me when it would be back on. Also, the toilet seat was broken, so I had to go to a gym facility to shower and etc... NOT a good thing. A hotel should at least provide proper working bathroom facilities.

Bathroom fixtures were somewhat worn. Found hair (not mine) in bathtub. Found hair (not mine) on sheets. Exterior door to rear of the hotel had a card reader but the door was unlocked. Anybody can enter and go up the stairs without passing the receptionist desk. Breakfast was minimal.

Room was not as clean as usual. Breakfast was minimal at best. Wound up eating out.

After traveling 700+ miles we booked via Orbitz and were very pleased with the room. Extremely comfortable beds, clean towels and plenty of bright light in the room for reading or crafts. Complementary fridge/microwave is you wish to have one in the room . Only negative was that the parking was tight as all but 1 spot were filled by time we checked in around 10-10:30 pm. The hallways could use a cosmetic upgrade but that doesn't influence our rating.

this motel serves its purpose

I have always maintained this motel is good value (if paying personally and not through business) for going in and out of Kansas City. The shuttle to and from the airport is great. They are not very flexible with checking in early, as I would expect an airport motel to be (especially with people coming from outlying town and contending with snow and ice driving to get there).
