When I arrived to check in, there was no one present at the front desk. I had to wait for about 15 minutes before the airport shuttle van returned and the driver came in to staff the desk and check me in. He appeared to be the only employee on the premises. There were two of us staying in the room. He gave us one key. We came back a few minutes later and asked for a second key. He gave us one, and thereafter, the second key worked but the first key no longer worked. The toilet barely flushed; the water just trickled out and the toilet paper would not go down the drain no matter how many times we flushed. We called the front desk and asked them to come and unclog the toilet. About twenty minutes later the employee came to the door and handed us a sink plunger in a plastic bag. It took me about ten minutes to finally get the toilet paper to flush by repeatedly plunging the toilet with the inadequate plunger. The bed had only two pillows, both of which were thin and lumpy. The reservation details advertised a "full breakfast." Instead, all that was available was white bread, packaged pastries, and two kinds of cereal. There was a pitcher of coffee that was quickly depleted and not refilled. The price and location were good, but I would not stay at this motel again given this poor quality of service.
i had a terrible time getting contact to them to get us back to the hotel to get our car.
No front desk help most of the time. A lot of broken items and the bathroom switch had a short. Bed extremely hard. But hey it was clean
It was a one night stay and we picked Econo by price and that they permitted dogs. We were pleased.
I couldnt find the place and called the front desk. The woman couldnt tell me how to get there, didnt speak english well and was rude. When I showed up she was leaving and asked me if I could wait to get checked in until she returned with the shuttle. I pretended I didnt understand and she rushed in to check me in which takes all of 2 minutes. Tub had hair in it..the temperature was either too hot or too cold...shower was not enough pressure to wash up well...toilet was slow and backed up...no conditioner in the room and it smelled...the hallway stunk like cigarettes and the staff was rude...evem the guy in the morning at front desk couldnt be bothered to check me out ao I just left my key and left. I paid the same price for an extended stay and was horrified at the difference. Pay the extra 10$ and have a gpod night sleep somewhere else...this place isnt worth it and is filthy
Not a great stay. Arrived to find front desk closed, with a sign saying back in 15-20 minutes. Waited in front room - couldn't call it a lobby. Bed felt like box springs instead of mattress, constant noise outside, frig in the room was really loud. When I left, the person at the front desk barely made eye contact as I turned in key. Super close to the airport but so are other places. I wouldn't stay here again.
Linens did not look clean. Bathroom not clean. Bed was hard! Was great for park and ride to the airport. Would not recommend for extended stay!
The room was sufficient for an overnight, and that's all we aimed for. Their service delivering us to the air terminal was good and on time, and airport pickup was sufficient too. If that's all you need, this motel will serve you suitably.
my sister in law and I booked room at park and fly with shuttle service as seniors to avoid traffic. The staff was helpful although I think the hotel might hire someone for the desk at night instead of the desk clerk having to also drive the shuttle But they were great shuttle came when called and were super helpful. The first night hotel room seemed clean could use some upgrades, a week later hotel room hadn't been cleaned at least not well. If the staff worked somewhere else I would not stay. would not recommend .
The hotel was a good value for the money. The lady at the front desk was great!
Just a quick stopover on my way home. But the hotel manager saw me walking back after dinner and gave me a ride, which was a very kind gesture!
This hotel is run down and old. Mattress on bed, I could feel springs. Didn't smell clean or look clean.
We had a good experience. Good breakfast, great stay, friendly staff. Would stay again.
Needed to stay for a flight leaving early the next morning at KC airport. Location was very convenient. Good value. Room was clean. I needed to print out my boarding pass and the front desk staff helped me out. Would recommend.
This place was perfect considering the cost and if you were only needing it for an evening. Probably would not recommend if you are looking for a luxury hotel north of the city.
Room was run down and out of date. Curtains were hanging by a few clips. No smoking room had an ash tray. Smelled like smoke. There were bugs in the room. No elevator and was on the third floor. Flat pillows and hard as a rock bed. No refrigerator, microwave was on the floor. Breakfast was danish, toast, cereal and coffee . Very limited . Owner was not friendly just walk right pass you without saying anything. Would not go back...
Pretty much what you would expect from a place in this price range. It's a convenient location, very close to the airport and it has shuttle service. The rooms are decently clean but at this price range, you're not getting four star accommodations. It's spartan but everything works.
Our flight had been cancelled so we were forced to stay overnight in KC. Although we made the reservation online, we then needed the free shuttle. I had to call 5x to get someone to answer. 30 min wait then she arrived. Same girl did the shuttle and checked us in. I thought we were in a movie. The room was ok, but the shower didn't drain well and the fan in the bathroom sounded like a freight train. But we were there a total of 7 hours. No bugs at least.
I chose this lodge because of closeness to KC International. I left the car there, they delivered me to the airport, 1 week later, picked me up. Good service as they promised. The only thing they should do is have better telephone communications for "pickup request'. (At one other time, they even helped me unfreeze my truck after setting in an ice storm while I was gone.
I was trying to save a few bucks when I booked this hotel room. As we pulled up to the front door I groaned, remembering that this place was on our "no-stay" list due to its poor customer service, dirty rooms, and pervasive mildew smell. Unfortunately, I had prepaid for two nights, so we stayed; however, it has now made it on to the typed out, permanent, "no-stay" list.
