Water got cold easily. Heat wouldn’t stay consistent. Pool and pool water was cold, that they closed the pool while we were there. Found a swimsuit, Powerade, and a pack of cigarettes in the room.

I really liked the Suite room layout. Spacious study/work space with a sofa and a coffee table, plus a good size work desk with comfortable chair that adjusts to height. Bed is surprisingly comfortable and my room had a pleasant view on the farm with horses next door. There's a lot of good lighting, which for me is important as I do a lot of work overnight. Front desk staff is very friendly. Breakfast is basic but tasty. Always plenty of hot eggs and sausage, plus taters, fruit, etc. For the price, good experience.

Staying here is a gamble. Good proportion of trash guests making noise in the halls, partying in rooms, blasting music in parking lot etc. A coworker's vehicle wa stolen from parking lot the first night by locals who frequently 'do business' at the hotel, (selling drugs, robbing people and stealing cars). They have a system that works well, knew to come from the back roads instead of the highway and through the other hotel parking lot and wore masks, they were clearly aware of all cameras in the area and made sure their plates weren't caught by any cameras as the ones at the hotel are too low quality to read plates vs the cameras near the highway and intersection which actually read plates. Cops were absolutely useless when asked to help with the stolen vehicle, and there is no police presence in the area. There's no way the hotel owners and staff don't know about this problem, yet warn none of the guests.

Overall experience is definitely GOOD with one major caveat - right expectations. THIS PROPERTY IS OLD (and not the St. Regis NYC kind of old) so with that come some issues. Hallways are really hot in the summer. Elevator makes loud noises on the way down. In the room: AC is weak and noisy (it's not central air, but one of those under window units), plumbing makes weird noises at night, furniture is outdated in design and worn, window shades have old school 3-piece design that doesn't block light well at all. Then there are minor wear and tear issues that property just doesn't stay on top of. For instance, my room had no drain cover in the sink and a loose cover in the shower. Plus the sofa had no back cushions (?). THAT SAID - if you are looking for a budget priced, spacious rooms that with good sound insulation, that are clean, safe, and reasonably comfortable, this location is pretty good. By far superior to motel level accommodations that charge close to same rate per night in the area. Plus Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is OK if you are into fast food. Again, at this nightly rate you can't expect 5 star hotel experience, but what you do get here is good value for the money. Half the time I come to KC I stay at the Marriott property 5 minutes away and honestly, while the building is much neater and more modern, the room is not that much different even though it's literally twice the price per night.

The TV didn't work and they just gave me liip service about fixing it but nothing ever got done. The first night there one of the guests had their car stolen. Because of the lack of TV we decided to leave early but they refused to refund the money for the night we didn't stay and never offered any compensation for the lack of a usable TV. I only had one person on staff I talked to that actually spoke understandable English. Over all a very poor experience and I will not be staying at any Days Inn again.

Price was good and Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Had to continually ask for towels . When exchanging dirty for clean front desk asked me to take them into their laundry facilities. I said no of course because it’s not my job nor will I go into areas that are designated for staff only. I wouldn’t stay here again .

Clean for animal friendly

For animal friendly it is a very clean hotel. Our room had a dog odor that was gone after we ran the air. Staff was very friendly and super quick to refill breakfast.
