I was led to believe the cost of the water-park was included with the cost of my room. I had to pay extra! The hot tub was not working. The outdoor pool water was very murky ( Not sure the chemicals were correct! Yuck!) The building itself was very old and needed a lot of repairs. Mold issues, in room humidity and odd smells some people were complaining about bugs. They even closed the outdoor pool for a private party on Sunday all afternoon/evening. If you stood at the front desk long enough, you would hear a long list of issues, from other guests. Do your self a favor, Read all the reviews, and believe them! For all the negative ones you read, there are 10 more complaints people didn't bother posting. Bottom line.... Run away! Find another place to stay!

I last stayed at this hotel about 6-7 years ago and it was very nice then. It looks like there has been little maintainence done to the rooms and there is a odor also that I can not describe. This property is in need of some serious upgrades to get back to where it used to be.

This is a great place for families. Staff was friendly and efficient. It was lacking in the ability to get something to eat.

The hotel did have to non-water park pools which was nice, but ultimately you get what you pay for. Rooms were dirty, smelled musty and were warm and humid b/c the air conditioning didn't really work. We originally thought it was just in our room that the air conditioning didn't work, but when we switched rooms we realized it was just the hotel. Super happy we requested to switch rooms because we think the first room had bed bugs. One of my kids, and both my husband and I had bites that appeared after the second night in the first room. Didn't get any new bites once in the second room. I would not go back to this hotel, I'm sure it was nice at some point but overall state of the hotel is long past that point. Neither restaurant was open on Monday evening or all day Tuesday it appeared, assuming because there was no Royals game on those days, but would've been nice to know/seen a sign with that info on those days.

Website did not indicate the water park was closed M-Th. No fridge or microwave in room, bathtub had piece missing with exposed mold

The room was hot, and the A/C would not work. After a call to the front desk, a worker adjusted it and it worked somewhat for a couple of hours and then stopped working again. We had 3 rooms with our group and only 1 room had working A/C. There was no refrigerator and no microwave and not enough towels in the rooms.

Basically the only good thing is that you can easily walk from the hotel to Kauffman stadium and the hotel isn’t outrageously priced. Other than that, the line to check in was extremely long without nearly enough people working the front desk. Our room was missing a couch, a safe, and some cabinet doors to the entertainment center. The bed was very uncomfortable and wobbly, you could basically hear your neighbors whispering the walls are so thin, and there was still brunette hair all over the bathroom floor from the previous guests... I wouldn’t stay there again, but if you just need a cheap and close hotel to the stadium then you can put it up with it for one night!

Very nice lobby, rooms weren’t as nicely as portrayed in the internet

We came up for a weekend getaway and to watch the Royals play. The hotel is very close and convenient to Kauffman Stadium. Our original room had TV problems so they moved us to the room next door. Coco Key's was fun for my son and the game room was also fun. Overall we had a good time. Only thing missing was a fridge in the room for our drinks and leftovers.

Needs some room renovation. Outside appearance needs upkeep

My mom and kids stayed here and there was no fridge in the room white substance on bedskirt and the beds were very uncomfortable. My kid and mom couldn’t sleep because it was really loud and toilet kept running constantly. She said it was the worst experience she’s had. The hot tub didn’t work and this will be the last time back. It wasn’t worth the 107 a night.

The hotel is very dirty with terrible beds. I might as well have just had a sofa pull out. The orbitz add made it look like the watermark was included and even listed it as an amenity. It didn’t tell you that it was $10 a person and that the water park didn’t open until 4pm and was only open 5 hours. By far the worst orbitz booking I’ve ever had. This place was a complete dump.

Elevators were down, dog hair on our bed(pictures) barking dogs and no parking. I had to walk a block away just to climb 22 flights of stairs

they did not honor my reservation thru your site. I was extremely disappointed with the fact that I had to pay twice

The hotel was quite nice, although the rooms are a bit dated. The water-park facility is very good and entertaining.

The top of the toilet seat was off and I didn’t appreciate it and it feel and broke and they never came to clean it up

I am sorry you were not able to see the CoCo Key website for their terms as they are a separate business from the hotel. I apologize for the inconvenience for the three hour pool party--we still had an indoor heated pool that I hope you were able to enjoy. The hot tub isn't broken it doesn't make bubbles as it is a whirlpool. Hopefully on your next visit we can improve upon this experience.

Megan, I am sorry for what sounds like a disappointing stay. We take pest control very seriously. I hope you reported this to front desk when you were here so we can investigate the room you are speaking of.

I appreciate your kind review despite the issue with the AC. After this weekend we are doing a full examination of our coils in these units. I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. We appreciate your business very much..

Thank you for acknowledging our value for stadium guests. Regretfully, it sounds as though this was a miss and we fell short of exceeding your expectations. I apologize and will be addressing your issues with the respective departments. I hope you will give us another chance in the future.
