The property was great, the steak house, bar, pool, spa and outdoor roof top were all closed. "Continental" breakfast left something to be desired. Overall was a pleasant stay

Property is an historic site; rooms are interesting and unique. Problem is they was to be a "boutique hotel" but are clueless about service. Check in was horrible, room information had typos and incorrect English, breakfast service was minimal, no basics like salt and pepper, or butter and jam let alone niceties; roof access to the hot tub was blocked if someone was in the spa.... The only thing they stresses were their rules and how you could upgrade and spend more money, Then they asked for a tip!!!

Great antiques excellent views and wonderful breakfast. Super unique place to stay!!!!!! Not your average hotel or motel. A place from time past .

This is for the Houses away from the castle. First, the Tv didn't work in the "Castle View" room then they offered us to change rooms to "The Loft" 3rd floor way bigger room but an underpowered air conditioner took at least 5 hours to cool down. Should have named it the Sauna. Next time I will make sure I'm staying in the Castle it's self I hear it's better.

The house was really cool to visit. But to stay there, it doesn't matter how fancy the woodwork is if the shower doesn't work. It was nowhere near the value that we paid for.

Very interesting and unique historic place. However needs a lot on TLC.
