My kids and I stayed one night in this place as my daughter was in a state championship competition in Kalamazoo. I booked the room for one night. The lady at check in was pleasant but, I was offered either a room with no curtains or wait for a room to be cleaned. I was checking in at 4:30. She also offered my a room on the third floor but, warned me that it is usually pretty loud and wild on the third floor. Further adding that it has become somewhat better since they hired security in the building. I waited for option 2 (a room to be cleaned). Upon entering the room, the first thing I noticed was the entry light switch did nothing. It didn't work for any light in the room. So I felt my way into the dark room to find the bathroom light switch. This is where the adventure began; I noted duct tape holding parts of the bathroom door together where it appeared that someone had once punched a hole through it. Then I heard my kids pointing out the flaws of the room. (They are under 10 and have trouble keeping their own bedrooms clean so their standards aren't all that high). Here is the initial list of yuk; burn holes in the comforters on both beds, night stand that was covered in multiple sharpie written phrases from prior guests, the TV stand/dresser had a broken marble top, a door that fell off when opening to check for nasties, the drawers inside were also all broken and falling apart. In the end the heat didn't work and no maintenance available. We froze all night.

The material condition of the facility was low. The heat/ air handler didn't work and floor tiling was lifting in many spots. Bed was large and was pretty comfy. Staff was excellent and friendly. Very noisy area

DO NOT STAY HERE!! This is an awful hotel. We were assigned a 3rd floor room. Entering the floor was like entering a weed hotbox. Rooms were open - not sure why we were given a key. Deadbolt was affixed so it couldn’t be turned to lock the room, and a hotel sign said not to use the deadbolt. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

This property is incredibly unsafe. I took tons of pictures. I will be contacting their corporate office. There are many people who actually live in this hotel. The people next door said that there was a prostitute in our room and somebody came to kill her that's why our window was shot out. Everything is broken. The garbage in the Halls is everywhere. There are people in and out all night long that I would assume are dope fiends. The entire building is absolutely filthy,it is not like the pictures. There are bugs everywhere. The smell is horrendous. No one works in the front lobby in the evening or at night therefore this place runs absolutely wild. They play music so loud that it shakes the walls all night long. Do not stay here. I have never left a review before but I've never had an experience like this. I wish that I could give zero Stars it's just not possible.

We cancelled our two nights as soon as we walked in! Room 314 didn't even have a door on the hinges and was disgusting!!!!! Dirty as hell and not safe. Should be condemned!!!

When I walked the girl told me that I was lucky I got the last room. I was like I’m lucky I have a reservation. There were garbage bags in the hallways, people fighting in the hallway. I believe this hotel people live there. There were flying bugs in the bathroom, mold in the bathtub, stains on the bed covers, no batteries in the remote or the smoke detector. If needed I can send photos of the stains on the walls.

Post Apocalyptic....
Literally felt like I was at a hotel in the early seasons of the Walking Dead. Everything was run down. There was a pile of cheerios cereal that was on the floor in one of the hallways that was still there the entire two days of our stay. Our TV didn't work through half of the stay. I will say it did at least feel safe.

Booked a King room got a queen. Room still had dirty towels in bathroom. Tv did not work called desk they said they would be right there. 45 minutes later someone showed up, give up and left, 2nd person fixed the problem. Got woke up at 3:00 am by argument in the hall. Again at 4:30 with someone knocking on the window. We gave up on sleep a left at 6 am. Would have left sooner but was afraid to leave before the sun came up.

Bad Super !!!
Older Hotel and it showed. The toilet had waste floating in it (had not been cleaned) the tub / Shower was dirty. I went down and told the lady that it was not going to work for me! When I got there there was 3 cop cars. As I was leaving there was now 4 Cop cars. They said to go to the Holiday Inn down the street as it was new. Was told by a lady that that lived there (!) that she Paid $1100, for the month. This Super 8 Should not have a Super 8 sign on it. NOT GOOD SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!
