We are both from London, England so Hawaii was a whole new world to us ... absolute paradise. But what made our stay so thoroughly perfect was Janice’s five star hospitality, warmth and attention to detail. She hung a little personalised welcome poster on our door upon arrival. What a sweet welcome. Listened to what we said we were looking for when we first met the following morning (we arrived reeeally late at night - no problem for Janice!) and then made sure she provided us with relevant information and equipment that same morning. We’d said we wanted to snorkel. Snorkels and fins were left on our door step straight away. We said we liked to taste new wines. She gave us a bottle of some she’s made herself! We said we’d like to see some places off the beaten track .... she produced a full itinerary within half an hour. You simply don’t get service like that any more. Personal. Thoughtful. Absolutely excellent. Thank you Janice. You have indeed set the bar high and we shall struggle to match it wherever we go now! We can’t wait to come back and see you again. “Warm smiles and Aloha” ... and see you in England this summer we hope! Do come and stay with us! Lucy & Dylan xx

Such a delightful place to stay! Just a short walk to a beautiful beach and plenty of beach equipment to use. Beautiful setting, lush plants and so many flowers! Our room was great with plenty of breakfast snacks and food. Janice is wonderful, so accomodating and helpful in every way. If you hate the busyness, craziness and noise of Waikiki then you will love the peaceful, quiet neighborhood. It was wonderful!

We spent 3 wonderful nights here. Couldn’t have been more perfect. We loved the quietness/secludedness of it but were still close to many restaurants, shopping and beaches. The hostess, Janice, was a wealth of information in all things Hawai’i. Was very clean, plenty of snacks and extremely comfortable. We will go back!!

Hawaii's Hidden Hideaway is a short walk from beautiful beaches and a gorgeous bay right out of a travel brochure. The wife and I stayed two nights then went on an inter-island cruise to Maui, Kawaii and the big island. Janice was a great hostess with fantastic information on the true hidden hideaways all around the island. The cruise was ok, but the best part of the trip was just relaxing and exploring the places Janice told us about. Her B&B has great views of the ocean and was clean, quiet and soothing! I highly recommend HHH!

We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed the location and talking with Janice. She's had the place for 20 years and has her hospitality down pat. We've always tried to stay in B&Bs over a hotel. I would say we were disappointed by not having a prepared meal in the mornings as we had at other B&Bs. Don't get me wrorng, there was plenty of stuff available, biscuits, pastries, fruit, juice, and condiments. The room had a clean bathroom, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and it was was well stocked with dishes, cups, glasses silverware, and utensils. You do your own dishes. The place was nice and quiet and the bed was wonderful. Enjoy and relax.

We booked the whole BnB for a family wedding. Very comfortable, great location and more breakfast foods and fruits than we could eat. Beautiful lanais and gardens. It was a nice bonus to have beach towels, umbrellas, chairs, snorkeling equipment and so much more. We didn't have to buy or rent a thing. Also, very nice to have laundry facilities available. Janice was a wonderful hostess, helping us out with some items we needed for the beach wedding. She even gave the newlyweds a special gift! I highly recommend Hidden Hideaway. We would definitely return.

Our family had a wonderful week-long stay at the Peacock Suite and Sunrise Studio. Each room had a peaceful, private lanai with lovely plants and flowers – the grounds of the home are luscious, all shades of green with blooms everywhere. The spa was delightful after a day of outdoor activity. Each suite is pleasantly appointed and comfortable. We have two teenage boys, and the space in the two adjoining suites accommodated us all nicely. The rooms come well stocked with breakfast items, fruits and juices, cookies, nuts and other snacks, and also tableware and glasses. It was great to have a fresh pot of coffee in the morning without having to drive to town. There are more than enough bath linens (good quality towels) and toiletries, and also items for the beach, including beach towels and mats, coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards and an outdoor shower – all of which we used daily. Lanikai Beach is just gorgeous! Soft sand, clear blue water, not crowded and only a short walk away. The nearby town of Kailua is easy to get to and has just enough shops and restaurants (and a great Sunday morning farmers’ market) without seeming crowded and touristy. Janice gave us great recommendations for activities, including golf, surf lessons, restaurants, hikes, cultural and historic sites, and beaches on other parts of Oahu. We would gladly return for another visit!

Room was great, bed comfy, nice and friendly. Great walk to the beach close to the town. The fresh fruit and other goodies left were most welcome. Would definitely recommend for people to stay as it was soooo relaxing.

Not only were we disappointed by the "breakfast" which were just a couple of food and cupcake in the microwave, it was filled with ants eating it. More than that, the ants got out of the microwave and hundreds of them were walking around and on the bed. My partner got allergy and we had to spend time in the hospital during our precious time in Hawaii. Good thing we booked and moved on to another hotel instantly, which helped us out to make the stay at the island better.

We spent three nights at this lovely B&B. If you want a quiet stay in Lanikai Beach this is the perfect place to be! You can't hear the road but you can hear the surf and the trade winds. It is just short walk to the beach. Janice is a fantastic host! The rooms are very private and well appointed. Everything you need for the beach, day to day comfort, and even his and her robes are available! We will definitely stay here again!
