We couldn’t have chosen a more magical location for our dream wedding! Maryann was so wonderful to us & took care of everything. Pearson’s Pond was beautiful, luxurious, & peaceful. We had lots of activities available to us even though it’s early spring. We went bike riding, took some nature walks, & drove down a breathtaking coast on Maryann’s recommendation where we saw bald eagles & a tucked away shrine. It was close enough to town for delicious restaurants & far enough away to feel cozy & romantic. We’ve been trying to think of some drawbacks or critical feedback, but really, there was nothing disappointing about this experience. Our glacier wedding was beautiful & Maryann arranged everything so that it was simple & stress free for us. We were pampered & our every need was attended to right away. I highly recommend Pearson’s Pond!!!

Beautiful, sumptuous luxury right on the brink of nature. The whole property is sculpted and relaxing, but the real treat is Maryann's generous and sincere hospitality. The place literally has all you need, I didn't even have to leave for a few days! Lots of extra treats make you feel cared for, but it is also very private. Good kitchenette in the room, and a great layout. Very clean, and I'm particular. I enjoyed the garden spa, too, and all this in the off season. Thanks Maryann, I needed that!

We cannot say enough about Pearson‘s Pond. From its picturesque setting all the way to the hospitable owner, Maryann, it was, hands-down, our best trip and most memorable moment ever! The inn itself is nestled in a beautiful part of Juneau, and as the name suggests, it has a beautiful pond out back. Inside, it’s beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We loved our room, and our balcony, and pretty much everything about this place. In the mornings, Maryann brings breakfast and pretty much is a wealth of information about the area. Weddings can be stressful, but Jack and I really didn’t have to do anything. Maryann took care of everything. She arranged for our helicopter transportation to the glacier, our officiant, and pretty much everything that goes along with getting married in Alaska. It was easy as pie. Not many people can say their wedding was a piece a cake but ours definitely was. The glacier itself? Wow!!! Everything about this trip was perfect. Our time at Pearson’s was so homey and comfortable that we felt like we were true Alaskans. This is the first time that my husband and I have ever been on vacation and not wanted to come back home. Like we literally had to make ourselves go to the airport, and we literally drug around for a week once we got home, wishing we were back at Pearson’s Pond. Pearson’s Pond is my favorite travel memory to date. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better place to stay - especially since Maryann devotes her time and attention to taking care of her guests as if they are the only guests in her inn. We will be back.

We booked Maryann's place for our 25th anniversary trip. It really lived up to all of our expectations based on the stellar reviews. Maryann made us feel at home during our whole stay. She has a wealth of knowledge of all things local and gladly booked us into all of the attractions we wanted to see. Her breakfasts were awesome and we enjoyed chatting with her and other guests about everything from the weather (it rained alot during our visit) to the various activities of the previous day. We didn't take advantage of much of what Maryann offers on site during our stay as we didn't have the cooperation of the weather most days. We would certainly take advantage of the bicycles, kayaks and outdoor cooking on a future visit. Pearson's Pond is a very beautiful and convenient location close to the Mendenhall Glacier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to get back to Juneau one day. When we do we will definitely stay at Pearson's Pond again. Suggestions to make this an even better place to vacation? We didn't mind it at all, but the little breakfast room was a little cramped so that privacy during breakfast was just not possible. The suite we stayed in had a nice jacuzzi tub, but it was the kind where the nozzles blow air instead of circulating water. Since it was unseasonably cool in June when we visited we found that the jacuzzi air was cold which made for a pretty quick cool down of the tub water if you ran the air for any length of time. We would have preferred a more traditional water jet tub. Maybe Maryann could consider that when it comes time to update or replace the tub.

If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Juneau, look no further. After reading all the positive reviews we booked our stay here, hoping it would live up to some of what people had to say. As it turns out, this is the nicest B&B we have ever experienced! The owner/proprietor truly wants each of her guests to have a wonderful experience, and she goes out of her way to make that happen. From planning the perfect trip to seeing the best that the area has to offer, she is exceptional. And she makes a mean breakfast!

What can we say... this little treasure of quietness and friendliness won our hearts and soul! We were not looking for an Alaskan home, but we sure did find one at Pearson's. Owner Maryann is a gem of hospitality.

We just spent 5 nights at Pearson's Pond Inn. What a nice setting! The owner Maryann even upgraded us to a premium room for the last 3 nights. We truly enjoyed our stay, including a nice bike ride in the morning and soaking in the one of the outdoor hot tub facing the beautiful pond. Highly recommend for people like us who want to have a trip different than cruise.

We had a great Alaskan adventure staying at Pearson's Pond. Its wilderness location is ideal--just a few minutes from the Mendenhall Glacier and some great hikes, and within ten minutes of both the airport (floatplane flights to see grizzlies and glaciers), and Auke Bay (whale watching and salmon fishing), and twenty minutes from downtown Juneau (dining, shopping and the tramway). What really made our one-week stay at Pearson's special, though, was our host, Maryann. She is so warm and made us feel instantly welcome when we arrived, and took care of all of our excursion arrangements, which were wonderful. When two of our planned excursions were cancelled at the last minute because of weather, she knew about it before we did, and rescheduled them for us. Her devotion to her guests, and her determination to make sure everyone who stays at her lodge has a memorable time, are unmistakeable. Maryann is extremely knowledgeable about the area, and Alaska in general, and seemed to personally know just about everyone whose services we might want or need during our stay. She connected us with great boat captains, floatplane companies, restaurants and enjoyable short excursions to supplement the more extensive ones. In a nutshell, we felt really taken care of by Maryann!

My husband and I recently did our vowel renewal ceremony with Maryann at the wilderness location by the Mendanhall glacier. Our experience with Maryann was wonderful. She did everything we asked for perfectly. She was so easy to get a hold of and answered all our questions. We had a large group and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. It was everything we wanted. The view was magnificent!!!

My husband and I decided on Juneau for our elopement and Pearsons Pond came up first on our search. While there were other options we went with Maryann and I'm so glad we did! All the details of the wedding down to the flowers she handled perfectly along with dealing with my nervousness on having a wedding so far away (we are on the east coast). Maryann is such a delight and so helpful and made our wedding go off flawlessly. I truly didn't have to do anything other than show up and she made the rest happen. As for the site, Pearson's Pond is beautiful and our room was perfect. It had a large bed with a living room area, kitchenette, bathroom with whirlpool tub, and access to a porch overlooking a gorgeous pond. If you're looking for a genuine Alaskan experience that's more than your typical cruise ship, I couldn't recommend Pearsons Pond more!
