I never leave reviews for hotels but this was a must for me. If you want a good depth review on this hotel then just keep reading. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s just a couple min away from NYC. And there is free parking at the hotel. Now the room was clean. I have no complaints about the cleaning. But the rooms are so close and the walls are so thin that you can literally hear the people in the next room. Another thing is that they have free breakfast but I recommend getting there early because a line forms really fast and you only have 30 minutes to eat. So I would recommend skipping out on the free breakfast and just grab some Starbucks. Now upon check in, everything was ok. They charge $100 deposit REFUNDABLE fee for any damages. We checked in on a Friday afternoon. Saturday in the morning the front main doors weren’t working. These doors are supposed to be automatic. So whenever we wanted to go out we had to manually open them. This wasn’t a big issues it just looked really tackey and embarrassing to our Uber drivers who would see us struggling to open/close the lobby doors. Upon check out I didnt get a receipt or anything. The receptionist said everything was already pre paid online. But the money was never taken out of my account prior to my visit (when I booked online.) once we start heading back home I’m going through my bank account statements and noticed that the hotel took out and EXTRA $347. I am still trying to solve this issue.

It is a clean, the people who work is friendly and is located in a good place !! :)

The room was just as pictured on the website, Clean room, friendly staff, and overall great experience during my short stay, I would definitely recommend and return

Nice bad, good food, great staff, nice view, ample parking

Professional appearance of the hotel staff and quality service

The access to the hotel is somewhat difficult but once you get there, the parking is fine. Hot water comes and goes. I complained about it but the manager just told me to “let the shower run for 10 minutes and it should be good.” It wasn’t. Internet was great and the room was very clean.

So dirty since i walked into the room. Old bed and old everything. The only good thing its close to nyc. Long line for breakfast. Better go early to avoid.long line.......

Hotel was very neat and amazing staff. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Clean hotel with complimentary breakfast. Can easily purchase a round trip shuttle from lobby to NYC for $15 or about a 15 minute walk to the nearest public bus/van shuttles to the city for $3.

The bidet wasn't working in the bathroom and the receptionist gave me a room that was already occupied

After changing hands from the previous owner the staff is lacking at best (seems to be a hassle to them to make simple changes) Cleanliness is marginal in the rooms. Checking out before 6am seems to not be available because the staff is on a break or something. Twice I tried to check out early and there was a sign saying they would be back soon on the counter. (Weird)

The hotel was in descent condition. However, it seems like someone took a marker to draw obscene things around the room and no one seem to noticed it. The bathroom wasn't super clean, and it needed some counter space. It did look like the bathroom was recently remodeled. The air conditioning wasn't working very well and we were hot all night. We had to ask for a soap bar because the cleaning lady didn't put any on our room. We had an incident where some sandals went missing from my room. After telling the staff about it, they were very helpful and tried to address the situation professionally. At the end, my sandals "magically" reappeared. We stayed here with the intentions of going to NY city. The hotel does have a bus service that takes you to Time Square for $12 round trip. We didn't use it. We used Uber, but it was at least a $35-50 trip to Manhattan. Overall is isn't a bad place. But you do get what you pay for.

Hotel in need of remodeling. Areas smell like mildew. No activities or restaurants without walking about half a mile or more along highways. Hotel in restaurant not open on Mondays. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. Shuttle to NYC nice and inexpensive but doesn't run without minimum amount of people- which can delay your trip- and the staff scheduling shuttles not the friendliest.

it is not far away from NY. there are many shuttles that go to NY on the road near the hotel.

I cannot recommend the Meadowlands View Hotel if you are looking for a good nights sleep. The bed does not have a real mattress it is more like what you would find in a pull out sofa bed and was very uncomfortable.

tv was not in hd.. had noisy room customers. had to pay for my coffee in morning.

We have previously stayed at this hotel and it has maintained its quality. Conveniently located in New Jersey right across from the North Bergen New Jersey Park and Ride, it saves us hundreds of dollars in hotel and parking fees for a weekend in New York. The public shuttle bus takes us to Times Square in a matter of minutes. The hotel itself is not swank, and the distant wetlands (the Meadowlands) are surrounded by freeways, trains and urban congestion, so the view is nothing spectacular, but it is a safe, clean and comfortable lodging. There is a morning breakfast buffet for $10 and a Penthouse restaurant offering simple fare. We preferred eating in New York, so we did not take advantage of the meal services. This is not a high end destination hotel, but it is practical, convenient and economical. The location is close to Interstate 95, which makes it very easy to reach by car, and allows us to make a quick getaway when it is time to head for home after a fun weekend in New York.

Hello TJ, We do apologize for the inconvenience you experience, we will be updating all our channels to better inform our guests of all policies. As for the automatic doors not working it was done so that our guests on line for breakfast would not get cold since the doors would automatically open if the sensors sensed movement.
