Stayed in December and would not recommend this hotel. The theme was 1970s with the open center and rooms along the outside. Rooms were in need of an update. Check in was frustrating as we had reserved rooms with two queen beds. There are no such rooms in this hotel. The rooms have one single bed and one double bed. Staff was not helpful in the least and would only say that it is Expedia's fault that they don't change the ad. Executive Lounge privileges are oversold so there are frequently no seats and you are told to come back later (on the positive side the staff in the lounge is friendly once they warm up). The prices charged in the lobby bar are ridiculously expensive and the service was horrible. The hotel is on a cliff overlooking the water, which was nice and there is a walking path. We were able to walk into the town. There are several "museums" in the vicinity which we could walk to. All in all, there are much nicer properties in the same price range in the vicinity which are more up to date.

the Hyatt is about one hour from the Jeju Airport by (the very convenient) bus. the hotel itself is nice. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the public bath disappointed. Jeju is a large island, and the Hyatt is (along with many other hotels) on the south side, while tourist destination are spread around the island, which can cause a lot of driving to get from point A to point B. the city of Jeju, where there is a nice fish, etc., market, is much closer to the airport. if we had it to do again, we might choose a hotel in the city, just to have more urban things (i.e., particularly expressive of Korean culture) to visit. on the other hand, the Hyatt has easy access to a coastal trail, and the walking there is very nice.

My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt this past weekend - we'd been there before on company parties and decided to make a staycation out of it this time around. The hotel grounds and the location are great - the ocean views are quite nice and the outside spaces are very well kept. The hotel is also adjacent to one of the Olle Trails if you want to explore a little more. We had the breakfast buffet one day and it was really good - a good variety of foods available with Asian and Western options, pastry, and very good fresh fruit and juices. The hotel rooms are showing their date quite a bit - you can see mold under the wallpaper, the furniture looks tired and scratched, you have pieces on the bedroom (like some of the remotes and the bathrobes) still bearing the old Hyatt logo - I don't know if this is an attention issue or what's going on - the layout of the room is a bit odd, too. We had a double bed and a twin bed in our room. I'd say the double bed won't be long enough for people on the taller side. Figuring out the temperature inside the bedroom was a bit tricky - it got quite warm at night. The bathroom also smelled a bit like smoke in the shower area. We always get non-smoking rooms, but hey, I guess this is Asia. The most irritating part about the whole thing - and I don't know if this is a local issue that can't quite be averted - was the billing. When the hotel billed us, it didn't show up as Hyatt Regency Jeju, or even Hyatt, the charge showed up under a completely different name that would definitely not let you know right away that that's your hotel bill. We had to call a few people and get the number for accounting to verify a couple of times that this was indeed the Hyatt doing its regular billing and not a fraudulent use of our credit card. For the price you pay, I think the value should be better and the hotel rooms should be in better shape.

I would like to appreciate Grace Kwon for her outstanding performance especially acknowledgement goes to them and I wish their management know how awesome they are for their great work. I want to pay attention to Yurim Lee performance whom took care of me very well at the hotel and I received a good impression of the hotel. also Blair Park who was a good listener and cool This is what struck me and motivated me to love to write to her manager about how awesome she was. Haeun Seo impressed me with her compassionate and her caring personality. Finally, other staff in the concierge especially the male staff with a glasses who was very efficient and his personality style was super awesome way and I as a customer was very and others too were all happy because of his performance, smile and good behavior and female staff with a short hair have been amazing and she is unique in her own manner. I believe they deserve all appraisal and career promotion for their upgrade. I have noticed them they were always placing their customers' interest first. There were other guys at the hotel foyer who received me with a great and warm welcoming I don't remember them well but I think of them his name is Paul or frank.

the first thing that struck me when i entered this hotel was that it was old, it reminded me of hotels i go to with my parents at a beach resort in the 80s. the decor, room amenities, shower area are all in need of some renovation. I was also shocked when i checked in that the air conditioning was not working, we were told that as the weather got cooler during November, that the hotel had stopped all air-conditioning and that opening the windows would cool the room. the first day was unbearable and we had to request for a fan but the 2nd and 3rd night was okay. in-room dining was nice and not overly expensive location was very south of Jeju and needed at least 45 mins of bus travel to and from Jeju city nearby restaurants are average in term of food taste but it is not very expensive Not sure if i would return to Hyatt if i go back to Jeju.

This hotel need renovations, too old.carpet, wall, etc. no toothbrush in toilet. smell inside room, need air improvement small fridge items over charge such as water price 5 times than normal price at the market.

I enjoyed the stay and the location is the best even though the building needs to be maintained. The best part of staying was watching the sunrise in the morning from room balcony. The other facilities are a bit aged.

Hotel and personal were a 5 star experience, only disappointment was the food, mediocre at best. Not many choices, buffet was available on Fri & Sat only, we did not arrive until Sun so I don't know how good or bad that was. I t only limited the choices at the single restaurant even more. Staff and personal could not have been more attentive.

Best Hotels in Jeju It is a very nice hotel in Jeju Jungmun complex. Nice walkway, beach view, pretty swimming pool The employees are all friendly, Club lounge staff is truly the best. I was a mother's birthday while I was staying. Please be kind to us, especially staying at a luxury hotel for a long time. Parents are kind enough to welcome the Club Lounge staff. It was a very pleasant trip. I will always go to the Hyatt when I go to Jeju. It was a really enjoyable trip. We stayed at Hyatt Regency Jeju for two nights over Chuseok with our two young children (aged 1 and 5). I had read mixed reviews about the hotel on trip advisor but really couldn't fault it. The outdoor pool and grass area where a real hit with our children. I found the staff to be incredibly pleasant and helpful. We were in Club rooms so had views of the mountain, yes the views of the ocean would have been much nicer but for the purposes of our stay we enjoyed just sitting out on the balcony once the children were asleep. The Club access meant we had breakfast, snacks, evening drinks and food included in the nightly rate. I felt this was great value and perfect with small children. The quality of the buffet and wine was really good, we were pleasantly surprised! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to families staying in Jeju, the small indoor play area was also great for our one year old and our 5 year old enjoyed the games room. My only suggestion would be that once a guest has checked in and paid for their stay, they should be allowed to use the facilities. We were told we couldn't use the pool until we had physically gone in to our room. Also, the weather was still very hot yet we were told the outdoor pool had closed a few days prior to our arrival which seems ludicrous! We were still able to use it but I would suggest extending the time the pool remains open in to Autumn. Many Thanks for a lovely break.
