The rooms was extra large and very good. Location of hotel is excellent Free wifi in the rooms the rooms was clear and everything you need was available But the breakfast was very poor, this was the only negative point of this hotel.
I've stayed both here and at the Movenpick, both which are very good. But, as a European, I've enjoyed the Ramada more. The restaurant is less extravagant and smaller than the Movenpick but the food is equally as good and the staff are very attentive. The reception staff helpful & speak good English and my first visit I was upgraded as my original room wasn't ready. The gymnasium, spa, sauna were all clean, fresh linen provided and a member of staff there in attendance. The swimming pool is more quirky than practical and is at the side of a very large meeting hall. Wi-fi has never been a problem and accessible throughout the hotel. The rooms have always been clean, well provisioned and a nice touch is the bowl of fresh fruit in the room. First class and well done Ramada.
Good services are offered at best price moreover It is on a convenient place. Breakfast choices are enough to choose your desire taste and continental types are also available. However laundry service are bit expensive compare to IBIS hotels.
the hotel is very good but little expensive and the staff are very good and helpful and the room is clean but not so big but so far the hotel is good the wifi is fast and the mini bar is included in the room
I AM TRYING TO POST THIS REVIEW FIFTH TIME. THREE TIMES I TRIED TO POST AND IT AUTOMATICALLY GOT DISAPPEARED. (YES IT HAPPENED !!!!!) Things in the morning starts with unexpected worst surprises: - HDMI Cables are not working. Your service supervisor straight away refuses to help saying that I am not a technician !!!!!!! Finally, you have to beg the waiter and they help you to get the things temporarily sorted out. - Due to water leakage or some other reasons, fall ceiling are in worst condition. (See the photo) - Next day, they changed the cable but new one is exposed and black cable can be seen hanging on ceiling. Everybody is distracted to watch the presentation. (See the photo) - Please, please, please avoid this place for your business conferences. - Many others are available in Jeddah at even better rates providing better services. Rooms: -Old, with stinky smell. Even far low priced hotels might be providing better airy rooms and this. Billing and Checkout: -Various mistakes and additional items were found in the bill. -We had to check with each and every participant as the reception did not have their actual checkout details available. -Finally they agreed, but it took them more than 2 HOURS to prepare the revised bill !!!!!! What a great checkout experience !!!!!!

Hotel is good in middle of the city. However the hotel needs renovation, rooms are bit smelly and old fashioned. There is Albaik just opposite to the hotel and Haifaa Mall is just at walking distance. A good hotel if you are planning to perform Umrah or Hajj as i see most of the visitors are for pilgrimages.
Seeing is believing, what is appropriate when I sit down to give a review on this KSA city. Excellent road conditions makes it conjesion free traffic. You can imagine hardly anybody press horn of car while driving in three/four lanes. Shops & establishments are very well planned and spread over a large area, specially Panda stores are worth seing at Jeddah. I am frequent visitor to KSA for my business work, each time I visit I try explore some new area/city. Recently I went to TAIF, a hill city around 70 km from Jeddah, Wonderful city with neatly planned everything here. Climate is very comfortable. And when you are in Saudi Arabia, you must experience "MANDI" the special arabian Lunch/dinner which is mouth watering. The flavor, the essence , the taste, unforgettable. When you try bite the chiken or Lamb pieces, you feel that a cube of butter like. And this dish is cooked without oils. Imagine , rice along with chiken and lamb is cooked by placing the oven below the soil, and placing charcoal peices on the upper cover of the Matka. Also available some Pakistani restaurants which serve many famous pakistani dishes of Mutton ,Chiken Fishes. Vereity are a plenty. Driving to & fro, TAIF, you are getting very close to holy city Mecca, in fact you are covering the 70-80 kn distance encircling the Kaaba of Mecca, there are two different roads , one for Muslims & the other for non muslims. Between Taif & Jeddah, you find a place called Alafat, known for stones which is pelted to evils by Haj pilgrims during Ramadan. Where ever, you travel in Jeddah, Taif, you feel that all the buildings are decorated for any events and functions. More importantly people in KSA take breaks five times a day for prayer. worth noticing , that no shop keepers locks their shops, neither close any shops, all the stocks including Gold Jewelers also leave their store alone and goes for prayer. Really it is worth visiting KSA, Unless you see, one can't believe the contribution of His Excellency King Salman, who is heading the kingdom with a mission 2030.
Plug sockets hanging off the wall. Light switches cracked and broken. Long wait on checking out ( actually found out the client had paid - but it took 25 minutes) Difficult location in rush hour and the one way system.
Having stayed at various Ramada properties across the world, I was quite sure that my selection will be on spot in terms of service, comfort and cleanliness. However, upon reaching the property and entering into my room, I found the facility over and above to what I had estimated. The reception staff was very courteous and enabled my check in process swiftly. The concierge service was timely and helpful. Upon entering the room, I found the environs to be very cozy, clean and comfortable. The room though small in size, was very well planned with functional aspects kept in close focus. For me the biggest determinant of any hotel's attention to detail is the set of bathroom toiletries which are often and easily ignored most of the times and forgotten to be replaced. At Ramada Continental, this wasn't the case at all. The room service and housekeeping was very responsive to all requests along with helping out to make the stay comfortable. Selection of tea coffee options along with snacks is good in the room where you can always enjoy a sip of tea after a hectic day. The hotel is located in a central location with Al Raya super market at walking distance along with other Egyptian and Yemeni restaurants close by. Another big attraction is that Al Baik is right opposite to the hotel. Also a large mobile phones market is very close to the hotel. NEGATIVES =========== - The lifts were very small to the extent of being claustrophobic. I understand to hotel premises is located at a central location, however, it was difficult to stand even if three people came in altogether OR if you had luggage with you. Also, out of the four lifts, only two were operational. - The cable TV was non-functional for 1.5 days and though I did not get a chance to view much TV, I usually keep it on when I come back in the room at night. Having called the technical team, they took a long time to fox but eventually did. The TV screen (approx 30 inches) was a bit too small for the room size - Unfortunately the room did not have a functional bath tub and hence I could not enjoy a warm bubble bath during the stay - Though not important to point out, but I felt the management should fire the team who writes / corrects the English language used in the hotel. From English on elevators to inside the rooms, I could see various basic mistakes in written vocabulary :) For proof, check my photos
